Sheffield Wednesday Match Thread!

Can't wait for this afternoon's Kelly Out topics and the usual shower of posts we endure after a single win taken out of context. ;)

It's bound to happen

All it needs is a change of tactics and attitude away from home, go into games believing we can win and you never know, it might just happen

I blame Milan.

Mandaric out!

Be interesting to see what excuses Kelly makes for that shower.

"We'll take it on the chin, put it behind us and concentrate on next weeks game against Plymouth"

Yes, that definitely sounds familiar :P

That's sounds more suitable for MAs :P

Ah we were bound to lose at some point.

We'll be back folks.

Even sides under O'Neill never won vs Wednesday at Hillsborough.

You know what, I love that Cobbo mate - you've just made my Saturday night much better under all this doom and gloom over 1 loss. Thanks matey :D:scarf:

Having too many backs on the pitch was part of the problem we don't want anymore ;)

"Here are the highlights of City's defeat" lol

Highlights is really NOT the word to use today.

Lowlights perhaps? :P

Not even that. There wasn't much to "light" at all,

whatever way you were going to do that...

Just got back from the game.

What a fooking shambles. Im afraid Kelly got it wrong today , the team that finished should of been the one that started the game. Johnson is an absoloute disgrace to the club , runs around like a twat when he can be arsed , does'nt put his foot in and plays stupid bastard balls.

The defence could'nt cope with Tudgay and Burton they're movement was superb , but to be fair some of the blame has to go on the midfield for leaving them free to roam in and around the box. Stearmen did'nt look intrested untill he went into the center and as for having Hammond in the line up thats laughable. He offers absoloutely nothing , bad control , clueless and just generally shite.

Sylla should of started again when he came on he gave 100% put in a few good balls and showed alot of passion. Im gutted but we did not deserve to win the game. Got to be some major changes for Saturday if we're too win.

Tiatto - Stearman - Weso - Sylla I would like to see providing Weso is fit.

Pretty much nail on the head there.

Johnson and Hammond were woeful today, absolute nightmares.

Sylla changed the game and needs a run in the team.

I can't read any more posts because I know the vultures will be hovering.

Time for beer.

Just got home from it, and it was shocking, never even woke up until they scored their second and Johnson was long gone.

But on a bright side I won the prediction on coach 2 and made a nice little number

The only posotive from today is Fryatt scoring on his return the rest I thought was dissapointing.

I've no idea how any two forwards are expected to do well in a team full of defenders and people moved out of position to accomodate defenders. But I agree about the beer.

The usual crap match and performance at my "virtual" home game.To put it into perspective, there was some similarity to the Stoke game on Tuesday with the game being won by two pieces of quality, this time

from Burton and Tudgay not us.By the time we got going it was too late and the twat of a ref had decided that kicking/tripping/butting Hume was not an offence,so we came up short.Whilst it was bitterly disappointing and the team selection was, with hindsight ,probably wrong, it sums up where we are at the moment - mid table mediocrity.I wish I could be more confident that salvation is just round the corner.....
