Shum Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 Alan Smith looks like joining Cardiff on loan. Could be a good signing.

Ric Flair Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 Oh great. When have we got to play these thugs?
Thracian Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 The backroom staff and board have shown themselves to be very astute!! It's called ambition!
Master Fox Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 It's called ambition! Ambiton doesn't belong to Leicester City
Master Fox Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 Alan Smith looks like joining Cardiff on loan. Could be a good signing. yep!! I Just think Elvis
Dr The Singh Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 It's called ambition! We have that at Leicester aswell, but far less from what I can I see, eg Carl Asaba, Farrelly!!!
Joe. Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 Smith's overrated and he's a dirty bastard. I really don't like him. The last few games I've seen him play he's been shocking. Yes I know he's just come back from injury but he's still not that good. Would be interesting to see if he actually goes to Cardiff anyway, and how he will fair in the Championship.
London_Fox Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 He'll fair very well in the championship because he's physical as well as talented. While i've never been sure about him as a top premiership player he'd make most of the top flight sides and walks into every single championship team even on current (not top) form!

Wisey is after him too apparently.

Sorry but thats Bollox, he's feckin JUST what we need, a crackin striker, who has adapted well to midfield in the Prem, could piss this league, world class, totally UNDER rated IMO. Still coming back to fitness from a horrific injury and time on the bench where he is going to find it hard to get back into. Brilliant signing if they get him...his biggest mistake....going to Manu and not Newcastle

Brilliant signing if they get him...his biggest mistake....going to Manu and not Newcastle Newcastle seemed to make the most sense at the time, but Man U wanted him. That would have been fine and dandy until Newcastle decided to look to Wayne Rooney - which led Man U to buy him too. If it wasn't for Wayne Rooney, Smith's move to Man U would have made a lot of sense. I agree, he seems to be underrated by some - probably because he's ex-Leeds.

dandannieldanok Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 It's called ambition! And Leicester do have that, but no money to fund it.
Ultra Posted 11 November 2006 Posted 11 November 2006 How the hell will Cardiff (or Leeds for that matter) be able to afford his wages?
filbertway Posted 11 November 2006 Posted 11 November 2006 How the hell will Cardiff (or Leeds for that matter) be able to afford his wages? They won't have to pay them all will they? If man utd want him to get first team football they will proably be willing to pay most of his wages just to get him back and playing again.
