cisono Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 How come we can't have those eleventh hour goals that salvages a point that seem to screw us over so much? Not for lack of trying... lack of concentration / conviction perhaps?
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Half the time in this league our team just sounds far too damn sloppy in every department. *Sigh*
Flemmish Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Fulltime. Leicester City 0-1 Preston North End
cisono Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Definitely a Kanu moment. Keanu could have scored it, even if he's no footballer.
lcfc_jme Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Glad I didn't go down today. We're gona have to be considerably better than that with a much more defensive minded team next week or Derby will absolutely hammer us
Suffolk_fox Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Ronaldo just has a 'Kanu moment' for Man U. I may be out of the loop here - what is this?
lookwhaticando Posted 18 November 2006 Author Posted 18 November 2006 Should have started with: Sylla Hughes Tiatto Porter.
cisono Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Glad I didn't go down today. We're gona have to be considerably better than that with a much more defensive minded team next week or Derby will absolutely hammer us Oh dear... please, no! It is bad enough losing to Preston...
lookwhaticando Posted 18 November 2006 Author Posted 18 November 2006 I may be out of the loop here - what is this? Wide open goal, defenders nowhere to be seen, Keeper beaten, 3 yards out he managed to lift it about 8 foot over the bar. Kanu did something similar for West Brom once - he was essentially on the goal-line and managed to land the ball on the roof of the net.
lcfc_jme Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Oh dear... please, no! It is bad enough losing to Preston... Yeah Derby can't stop scoring and winning atm, and we are dreadful away from home. The crystal ball suggests a battering for me to witness at Pride Park
moseeds Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 I hope Rob and the staff work on polishing passing, crosses and a bit of shooting down the training ground this week. Isn't that what they should be doing day in day out?!
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Yeah true >_> Well, I hope they all turn up to training then
filbertway Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Yeah Derby can't stop scoring and winning atm, and we are dreadful away from home. The crystal ball suggests a battering for me to witness at Pride Park With derbys the form book goes out the window Usually...
lcfc_jme Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 How the fook can a professional football team have 13 shots on target and not manage a single goal between them?? That is absolutely pathetic. Preston had 3 shots on target and scored 1. I'd like to know what we get up to in training day in day out if we are unable to put the ball in the net after 13 shots

lookwhaticando Posted 18 November 2006 Author Posted 18 November 2006 Well, that's that - off to A&E (ER to you LWICD) to have my injuries seen to. Part of me really hopes the Boks stuff us next week.... I know what A&E is you pillock.
lcfc_jme Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 With derbys the form book goes out the window Usually... Yeah but in derbys, teams normally want to win badly regardless of league form and home or away. With us, it'll be another dismal away day with 8 defenders on the pitch and attempting to soak up pressure.
lookwhaticando Posted 18 November 2006 Author Posted 18 November 2006 19 goals attempts, 13 on target. they had 6 & 3 Wasn't for a lack of trying, it was for a lack of quality in front of goal.
lookwhaticando Posted 18 November 2006 Author Posted 18 November 2006 PS: Suffolk - which part of you wants the Boks to beat us? Which rib in particular?
