Pokeroom.com

I've not ventured into betting real money online yet. If I did it'd probably not be on this site. It just has a good layout and selection of tables and you don't have to download anything to play.

partypoker. Its getting worse. they have a lot of bad beat tables and they take a percentage of the rake from you to pay for it. Thing is to get the jackpot you need to have a minimum of 4 X 8 when you lose and you have to use both hole cards.

I only play on the 50/1 tables as kendud. Had a couple of bad months According to my brother who is coaching me I should be beating the other players. I have paid more in rake than to other players. Its just that I play one or two hands badly and that ruins the stats. A good player wins at the rate of 2/3 big bets per hundred above his stack. So one or two bad plays makes it difficult to recover.

The pros say that in the short run Holdem is all about luck but over a longer period the more skilful player will come out on top and luck evens itself out. So by the year 2252 I will be a millionaire. :D

If you want poker books it's my housemate you need, he has a library of them, and has Poker software for over 20 different casinos on his computer.

He mainly does Pokerstars and Ultimate Bet, and VC Poker for the free Student Free Rolls where you compete as Universities.

We were having fun pissing about on PKR just because it's 3D and you can sit there and do actions like Laugh Out Loud and stuff when people lose, and get your person to shout "Loser" at the others even when you lose.

Hours of fun.

I got the PKR CD with a magazine. The animation is OK if you play for fun. It's off putting if you take it seriously. I've turned the images off now on Party Poker and I sometimes turn the chat off. I've seen the student challenge tounament on one of the digital channels (Challenge 135 NTL) Some of the ones I seen need to practice a bit more. :D Anyway I ended up winning yesterday which is not bad considering I was 12$ down after the first 50 or so hands. :D

My mate just finished 172nd in the tourney he was at in the Caribbean, he won $9,889.

So for the $22 he paid to enter a tourney which then won him the place in this big tourney he got a free holiday to the Caribbean and £9,889.

Not bad for $22.

Bastard.

When he gets back he's buying me a drink.
