Thracian Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 A Gent???? I typed in english gent in google and this came up.... Is it Thracian??? That's frightening now I've got my beard and orange tinted glasses! We've no mirrors in our house but my wife always said she didn't marry me for my looks !
davieG Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 Saw your lad only today! Yes he mentioned it, He's off to Norway tomorrow. I hope the wife's still making good progress.

Thracian Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 Yes he mentioned it, He's off to Norway tomorrow. I hope the wife's still making good progress. Yes, he almost talked me into looking for a house over there. They sound terrific value. My wife's just had her routine scan a year after her op so fingers crossed. Called in at the ticket office while she was being x-rayed (as you do! ) and couldn't believe the Barnsley game was virtually sold out. It was either in with the kids or tickets right in a couple of corners.

Alexikokopops Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 Add Kayteh and Disco Bob to my list DB seems like a decent bloke after all - and besides, arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics... It was only a matter of time...
lookwhaticando Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 I'm planning on taking over the world one person at a time through mind control!!! (1 down 7 billion-ish to go.) I'd gladly meet anyone. Some because I like them, and others because of morbid curiosity (ie Chandler). Name the time and place and I'll almost certainly be unable to meet you. I'm adding you to my list though as you helped me discover s'more Madness. Thanks for saying me everyone. Did someone say something? Only kidding. When I'm next in Leicestershire for whatever reason, I demand we have a massive meet up of FoxesTalk members from far and wide. It could be fun.
Finnegan Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 Uh, oh, uh, you're coming back to Leciester? Oh, uhm, I'm sorry man, I'd love to. But, y'know... I'm er, branding my sheep that day.
lookwhaticando Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 I do plan on returning to the county at some point in the future. Absolutely no finite time frame on this, though... some time in the next year? ten years? fifty years? who knows? Not me. Don't worry, I'll make sure you have plenty of notice - that way you can plan on branding your sheep at a most opportune time (ie. the day I'm free for a meet-up).

lookwhaticando Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 Suddenly I feel the best foxile award was a somewhat hollow prize.
Thracian Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 I've met DavieG and The Singh and if those two are anything to go by it's a terrific choice I've got. But, forced to decide, I'd like to meet Cisono, cos she always seems so cheeky and such fun or there's VaFox cos he sounds so much larger than life, full of anecdote and I rather think he likes to bend his elbow for a good pint. Trouble is there's so many young folk on here it would probably be near illegal for a bloke of my age to talk to any of them. Sad world we live in really.

Maybes Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 I'm more than old enough to buy you a pint. If the drinks are free, count me in.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 I'll warm ya'up, nigga. ... all platonic, like. Best offer I've had all week month year okay, maybe I shouldn't be specific. Seriously though, did some work for our HR department today... wall-to-wall girls. I walked in like this Without the Santa hat obviously.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 Who? Them or you? Oh they were all wearing just Santa hats.
Finnegan Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 Oh they were all wearing just Santa hats. There needs to be a swinging-hand, slappin-ass, hip-groovin' "Hittin' That" emoticon. Serious.
MC Prussian Posted 13 December 2006 Posted 13 December 2006 All in all, we need more female company on here. Without them, it's just half the fun. For that reason, I'd like to meet cisono and tell her how grateful we all are to have her on here...
