lookwhaticando Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 Just the usual stuff, really. Good healthy food So you're going to pig out on Turkey, stuffing, potatoes of various kinds, sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, leeks, ham, beef, cranberry sauce etc etc - just like the rest of us? It's the way to live!

It's the way to live! Not so keen on sprouts for some reason. I don't mind any of that really, it is just the glaze on the veggies that I object to! (It makes me kind of sick)
Suffolk_fox Posted 15 December 2006 Posted 15 December 2006 We are having lamb and goose, with my roast potatoes (cos I am the Daddy!)plus assorted veggies. NO SPROUTS!! We are getting our lamb from a South African butcher we know - we are buying an entire lamb, butchered and bagged, with offal, and it works out at £5 per kilo - which is how much the cheapest cuts cost from Asda.... The goose is from a neighbouring farm. Oh and Traditional Chrimbo pudding of course....
Wils Posted 15 December 2006 Posted 15 December 2006 Talking of Christmas Dinners i had one at work today. Cant beat your old dears though.
Bert Posted 15 December 2006 Posted 15 December 2006 Pigs in blankets are the best! (for you non veggies of course)

Rincewind Posted 15 December 2006 Posted 15 December 2006 I've got Xmas day off so for the poster with the best and most appitising menu you will win the prize of my company for xmas dinner. Other than that it will be a do it yourself hash job. Turkey slices/breast frozen roast potatoes frozen veg and an individual mince pie to follow Christmas crackers may be difficult pulling by myself.
lildave3 Posted 15 December 2006 Posted 15 December 2006 For some reason it's always Ham and chips on xmas eve then the turkey on xmas day.
Filbert_Ross Posted 16 December 2006 Posted 16 December 2006 agreed. Its just a sunday dinner except your already very drunk so it tastes better, christmas dinner is a con artist The only bit i like is christmas pudding Now that is worth the wait nah you get stuff like bread sauce, apple sauce, pigs in blanket, xmas crackers. loads better
