Goals that really hurt

The winner really hurt last night. As soon as they made it 3-2 you could see where the game was going. They just took the asendance straight away.

I thought we looked bad at defending corners. Gotta do better than that.

True everytime they had a setpiece we looked vulnerable.

i have to say, the goal last night was not that bad for me, i was obviously disapointed, but the way we played made me feel beter about loosing.

filbertway was more gutted last night when they made it 3-2, he would of won £180 odd if it stayed 3-1 lol

The 4th goal was really gutting though.

That's nothing, I know a guy who had a tenner on the score to be 3-3 after 90 minutes at 64/1. :olol

Steffan Iversen, 93 minute at Wembley in the League cup against fcking Spurs..was close to tears walking away after that. Also, Essandho for Wycombe in FA Cup QF...that was the beginning of the end. We were 4th at the time, we won only one of the last 11 games because of Peter T (I cant even bear to put his full name on this forum). next season we were appalling and got relegated and never really recovered from it. All cuz of fu*kin teletext!!

This season I think fat frank's third to make it 4-3 really hurt. The dreams shattered. The hope we could actually beat them taken away in one moment...

Crystal Palace's equaliser at Selhurst Park hurt, a lot. Just after some of the most hectic goal celebrations ever, everything was crushed.

I agree and also that last minute goal against Fulham last season to knock us out the cup :cry:

Shevchenko's goal hurt the most. I honestly thought we were going to win it, then as soon as that went in I just knew it wasn't going to be.

Fat Frank's just rubbed it in.

no contest. Paul Bodin's penalty for Swindon in 1993 play-off final. Thats the only time I have cried at a football match, and scores of grown men around me were doing the same.

I wouldn't go as far as hurt, but the penalty that Marlon King scored against us this season.

It just kinda ruined the perfect day, sunshine, great performance, a spectacular goal, and four goals, at home against the pace-setters of the championship. To not get a clean sheet just took the shine off it i thought.

Newcastle away in the 96/97 season. Winning 3-1 and then mister Shearer scored a hat trick and his last goal was a reet screamer. Swindon i love watching the comeback ... I just turn it off when it gets to 3-3 though.

That one game at Wolves away... 3-0 up at HT, then losing it completely, final score 4-3 to Wolverhampton. What an embarrassment that was. "Premier League's Joke of the Year" back then.

Chelsea's 3rd or 4th goals were maybe the most gutted I've ever been at a match. Just the fact we were so close to beating a team like them in their own back yard.
