Matt Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Well if they hurt as much as the player in that squad made out - Wycombe in the F.A Cup...The players in that certain squad were ALWAYS making excuses how that loss hurt us so much if I remember correctly.
Asha Posted 31 December 2006 Author Posted 31 December 2006 T'was an equaliser. The year before when he scored for Ipswich was a winner. yeah got a bit confused sorry --- both were gutting
Asha Posted 31 December 2006 Author Posted 31 December 2006 can rememeber at st james park when we battled for the whole 90 in despiration of staying up and then in the last kick Carl Cort put them one up. Tim Flowers actually played well...
MC Prussian Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 All the goals against Wolverhampton, after us being 3-0 up. The 4-4 draw against Tottenham a few years back.
Kilworthfox Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Yeah i remember the newcastle game on boxing day, sitting in the east stand next to two geordies and ambrose heads in the winner gutting That match finished 1vs1
Jay Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Bloody hell, only one other mention of the Swindon game? How young are you lot? I remember it mate and yes it did hurt BUT even though we lost it's still one of the best games I have ever been witness to!!! I think I went through every emotion possible that day!
DB11 Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 All of the goals that conceded us to relegation in the Prem, mainly the last minute ones. One that does stand out though would be Darren Ambrose for Newcastle on Boxing Day, god was I sad and how it runined my xmas. I also didn't like Paul Dickeads penalty after he dived

The Swindon penalty was dubious as well but easier to take because it was such a great game
Guest Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 I'm with you. Swindon game was the worst. Fell down the steps at the old Wembley as well just to compound the misery of injustice. I remember it mate and yes it did hurt BUT even though we lost it's still one of the best games I have ever been witness to!!!I think I went through every emotion possible that day! Having come back from 3-0 down, it was particularly heartbreaking.
morris1234 Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Recently I hated Agbonlahors goal and watching all the villa fans celebrating definately!!
Foxhateram Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Bloody hell, only one other mention of the Swindon game? How young are you lot? The Arsenal game! last game of the season when we were in the premiership we looked set to end there unbeaten run, when (ok two goals) two goals came in the last 10 mins, one was offside and the other was a no way penalty, i will never forgive Paul Durkin for that day. and after dickov has scored for us and we held on for so long, it hurt so much, still havent got over it. although i went to the fulham game that season we lost 2-0 thanx to two goals from john. that secured our relegation i cryed all day after that.
Ashley Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Is that the Cup game vs Wycombe ? Its on youtube, Tbh they got lucky
Foxhateram Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Its on youtube, Tbh they got lucky gosh yer the wycombe game, we were doing so well before then! since then weve done nothing but fall. was the start of asome real crap!

Foxhateram Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 I remember that. It was on Sky Sports Classics the other day ! the arsenal game or the fulham game? both so gutting!
Simi Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Arsenal game. Good old Frank Sinclair giving the peno away !
Foxhateram Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Arsenal game. Good old Frank Sinclair giving the peno away ! thats the one! no way a penalty! and the other goal deffo offside iv reveiwed it so many times . Paul Durkin= the most hated referee in english football ( yer i add another one to his tally)
uncle_connolly Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 I have to say when Plymouth equalised to make it 2-2 at the Walkers earlier in the season really got to me - I was pretty devastated afterwards actually
lildave3 Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 The Chelsea cup game, when Mike ****ing Reid gave that bast*rd penalty after Franck Leboeuf dived. That hurt even though i was young.
He's not bald Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Any goal that the trees have ever scored against us...they all hurt like hell
Ultra Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Any goal that the trees have ever scored against us...they all hurt like hell Especially the one scored by Jack Lester in the 96th minute, 02-03. I STILL haven't seen us beat the trees at their hovel..
Anish Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 The Chelsea cup game, when Mike ****ing Reid gave that bast*rd penalty after Franck Leboeuf dived. That hurt even though i was young. It was Erland Johnson wasn't it? Leboeuf converted the penalty.
Thracian Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Don't remind me of that. I tried to find out where he lived and all sorts. Perhaps I wasn't always as easy going and pacific as I am now cos what I wanted to do to that guy wasn't printable. Even now there are no words in the English language to describe the bloke and I'd never want to meet him. I'd just bait him and bait him until he hit me cos I've never ever hit anyone first in my life. Have we got no mods?. Why did anyone allow that shitbag's name to be mentioned...!
Collymore Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 That Beckham freekick against Peggy was harsh. We should have won that game.
Collymore Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Especially the one scored by Jack Lester in the 96th minute, 02-03. I STILL haven't seen us beat the trees at their hovel.. I remember sitting in my halls at uni watching final score with the Leicester score taking forever to come in - It was as if I just knew they were going to equalise. Also was trying to relieve tension by holding my breath until the FT came through, nearly killed myself
