Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 Henderson Stearman McAuley Kisnorbo Johansson Hughes Williams Wesolowski Porter Hume Fryatt 'kinell, that's practically what we played against Sunderland.
luffbra Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 442 attacking and Henderson... Remember - this is about what's best now - Logan is good, but he's the future!
Magictv Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 4-2-4 Logan Stearman McAuley Kisnorbo Johansson ---------------Weso Tiatto----------------- ------------------Porter-------------------- ----------Doods Hume Fryatt------------- Adventurous, would probably lose several goals to nil though.
uncle_connolly Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 4-3-3 --------------------Conrad------------------- Stearman----Kisnorbo---McCauley--Johansson Hughes------------Williams-----------Porter Elvis----------------Fryatt---------------Hume Atleast give it a try for fook sake.
gilesyboy Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 4-3-3 --------------------Conrad------------------- Stearman----Kisnorbo---McCauley--Johansson Hughes------------Williams-----------Tiatto Elvis----------------Hume---------------Porter That should just about do it, give Porter a little more space to run at people, flanked by Elvis, Hume to link and get into position from anything from them or midfield or drop back and let Levi & Elvis run them ragged
lookwhaticando Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 Someone give this man an FA coaching certificate No can do my man. Such a formation is way too novel, different and original for him to qualify for a coaching certificate.
Wycombe Fox Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 I went for 'other'. My 'other' formation would be 4-3-1-2 The '1' would be Ian Hume and my thinking is that the one between attack and midfield has the flexibility to support either the attacking two or the midfield three depending upon the state of play at the time. We could instantly become either a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3. Don't f**k about with the defence - that's being f**ked about enough as it is! Give the midfield some space and have a closer link to the front men. Keep the ball on the deck with shorter passes without the need to play hopeful (or hopeless) long balls to The Offsidernator!

Thracian Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 4-3-3: Henderson; Stearman, McAuley. Kisnorbo, Sheehan/Tiatto; King, Hughes, Porter; Hammond, Hume, Dodds/Fryatt.
Ultra Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 4-3-3 Logan Kenton McCarthy Kisnorbo Johansson Porter Wesolowski Tiatto/Stearman Hume Hammond O'Grady/Dodds
Phube Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 3-5-2 If you're gonna have 3 central defenders in a team, do it properly!!!!!one!!!11!!! Logan Maybury Paddy K Paddy M Gareth M Porter Williams Weso Hughes Hume Fryatt
Geo V Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 A boring 442 attacking formation with Logan in goal, who has done tremendously in football since winning the eurovision 9 times with Ireland All we then need is the 11 players to fill the gaps.
DB11 Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 Hendo in goal and the formation as 5-3-2 POSSESSION football (like Chelsea)
Wils Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 3-5-2. We dont attack enough maybe with another man in the middle we can pack it and try to dominate it which at the minute we just dont do.But then this reliys on having to decent wing backs which we lack.
lcfc_jme Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 Gone for 3-5-2 as it's a nice change and should allow us to dominate in midfield where we're normally overrun. Gone for Hendo in goal as well
