My fullbacks in a 5-3-2 would have to be quick. I demand speed/pace from the fullbacks. So mine would be like a 3-5-2 also. I call it a 5-3-2 because as I have five defenders, I'd have proper midfielders who attack. No Andy Johnson type crap. 4-3-3 would be another option... if only we had three decent strikers.

This solves the midfield crisis, Kelly can satisfy his fetish for central defenders and as our strikers goal scoring touch seems to be passed on like a baton in a relay sprint we will at least be sure that one will be scoring. All we need to really get things going is a big aging striker so that we can use Logan as a kind of quaterback/goalkeeper. Entertainment guaranteed. This management larks a doddle...
Joe. Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 My mind went towards 4-3-3 with Logan in goal. Our midfield is terrible an we can't manage a shot on target to save our lives. If it were 4-3-3 I'd go with Hume, Hammond and O'Grady up front.
