Simi Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 At 0-0 some people think it's fun to do a mexican wave. 2 minutes later Fulham scored. <_< I didn't see that going round ! Stupid idea though as in the past it has come back to haunt us !
filbertway Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 At 0-0 some people think it's fun to do a mexican wave. 2 minutes later Fulham scored. <_< Missed their goal because I was cheering you
Floating Fox Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Missed their goal because I was cheering you That was very funny becasue Bert was having a pop at them whilst Fulham scored I was laughing at Bert and then my face was like - - When I saw they had scored
lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 At 0-0 some people think it's fun to do a mexican wave. 2 minutes later Fulham scored. <_< Weren't fooking 2 minutes later! It was as soon as you told them to pack it in!! Missed their goal because I was cheering you Yeah I was doing the same thing , turned round and saw the Fulham fans celebrating. My set of emotions were
DB11 Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Mexican Waves are ok, not when they keep going round and round though.
Floating Fox Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Mexican Waves are ok, not when they keep going round and round though. Not when its 0-0 either We have to be 5-0 up and in the last few mins
Tommeh Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 villa was good because we were playing well and it was sort of going round either side of the extra time half time break. also Barnsley was good because we were winning comfortably and Barnsley didnt look like they had 2 goals in them, also was a good attendance so it worked well. Doing one today would have been silly, o-o tight game and what did they expect to happen when it got to the corners did they expect all the empty seats to join in aswell??
lildave3 Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Mexican Waves are ok, not when they keep going round and round though. This wasn't really a mexican wave, just about 15 people doing a countdown then putting their hands in the air.
potter3 Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Mexican Waves are ok, not when they keep going round and round though. That tends to be what Mexican waves do
Floating Fox Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 This wasn't really a mexican wave, just about 15 people doing a countdown then putting their hands in the air. That how the mexican wave is started You were next to them werent you
Tommeh Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 That tens to be what Mexican waves do just what I was going to say!
lildave3 Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 That how the mexican wave is started You were next to them werent you I was unfortunately <_< I just laughed at them.
lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 They were being stupid. I told them (admittedly not very loudly because of my voice ) but they carried on. Then bert told them, they stopped it, and Fulham scored!! Didn't try it again after that though Stupid idea to do it when the game was that tight, we didn't have the lead and there was quite a bit of time left!
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 I didn't see this where was this cracking off. I knew they were going to score after Hume missed that absloute sitter, it was obvious.
lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 I didn't see this where was this cracking off. I knew they were going to score after Hume missed that absloute sitter, it was obvious. It was cracking off on row PP of D2 next to me, SUAS, filbertway and potter3. I just hid my head in shame. It was disgraceful. Bert shut them up though Hume should have buried his chance. Unmarked and time to maybe take a touch. Fryatt should have scored in the first half as well.

I think Hume got a little unlucky as the ball bounced just before he made contact...(If that is the chance you are referring too !)
lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 I think Hume got a little unlucky as the ball bouned just before he made contact...(If that is the chance you are referring too !) That would be the chance I am referring to (second half). Whether there was a bounce or not, he should have scored as he was unmarked and their keeper was in no mans land!! Still, I'll let him off simply because we didn't lose

Fryatt took far too long to shoot, allowed the defender to get positioned well.
