The People's Hero Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 How far is it from London Victoria to Liverpool St? Thetrainline.com reckons I need to leave 72 minutes for that journey. I find that hard to believe.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 What about www.trainline.com? Ah, many a time I have attempted to book travel tickets through the unpopular beat combo, best known for middle-of-the-road drivel Drops of Jupiter. They weren't having any of it.

Ah, many a time I have attempted to book travel tickets through the unpopular beat combo, best known for middle-of-the-road drivel Drops of Jupiter. They weren't having any of it. I've only ever heard the phrase beat-combo used 7 times. 6 times that was by you.
Head Honcho Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 Go to the London Underground website. They have a route planner.

If we can talk enough drivel in this thread it might get enough replies to coax in an unsuspecting Cockernee to answer your question. So let's cut to the chase. Who let the dogs out?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 Go to the London Underground website. They have a route planner. Here EDIT: Damnit! You'd think mildly popular beat combo Lonestar, of "Amazed" fame, would have snapped up www.lonestar.com. The idlers.

Steven Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 How far is it from London Victoria to Liverpool St? Thetrainline.com reckons I need to leave 72 minutes for that journey. I find that hard to believe. Much less than 72 minutes. Allow 25 mins or so.
Daggers Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 Much less than 72 minutes. Allow 25 mins or so. From station to station - but you may have up to 10 minutes waiting for an underground puffa. Awight? Leave it aht. Sorted. This post starts the first in a Bowie-themed series of posts collectors edition #1

I find that hard to believe. Can't remember the route off the top of my head, in the 6 years I lived there a good rule of thumb for planning journeys once you know your route is to use 1.5 mins per stop. http://www.afn.org/~alplatt/tube.html Obviously you have to allow for changing lines and delays etc etc, ....actually made me remember why I moved to NZ now and don't commute in that sh*t hole twice a day anymore! Or try the journey planner http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tube/
