Little Nicky Posted 10 January 2005 Posted 10 January 2005 I'd rather have Elliott up front (injured) than Dion, he's a good central defender is Dublin, but nothing else; simple as!

Ric Flair Posted 10 January 2005 Posted 10 January 2005 To be honest it's better for our youngsters to be loaned out this season to see what they can do because it's obvious Levein is scared to put them in. Wright hasn't come on aswell as I thought he would do, but he's scored alot of goals at youth and reserve level and I still think he can become a decent striker. He needs games though and whether that's with us or with another club, there are some strikers that don't get in to gear until they are 20/21 so Wright has a perfect chance now to prove to Levein he's worth being part of the new revolution. Blackpool are my second team, i've followed them for several years so if Wright goes there permanently I won't be too upset. Levein needs to send Stearman and Dawson out if he isn't going to play them this season, they need games. They also need to show Levein that he's being extremely silly leaving them out.
Louise Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 Levein was on RL today saying how he didn't want to send Tommy out on loan, he thinks he's got a good attitude and is around the fringes of the first team. Dunno if that means it's off or they have to do it to save money.

Craig's had enough chances to give Tommy a go but he refuses. Scowcroft is invincible.
Collymore Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 Dion 53117 I don't even think of him as a striker any more. 53119 Got more goals than Connolly or the same ammount cant remember 53121 He's still a rubbish striker! 53125 makes me laugh, If dion had been playing well everyone would be banging on about how good he is! You can't say Dublin is a bad striker IMO best at our club.
