Cat Burger Posted 9 January 2005 Posted 9 January 2005 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~610744,00.html Read the bottom paragraph How demoralizing must that be for Canero, he is ten times the player Makin is and it's obvious??? Does anyone else think this is unfair??
Guest Posted 9 January 2005 Posted 9 January 2005 It's almost as if Canero's disappeared off the face of the planet or something.
davieG Posted 9 January 2005 Posted 9 January 2005 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~610744,00.htmlRead the bottom paragraph How demoralizing must that be for Canero, he is ten times the player Makin is and it's obvious??? Anish Posted 9 January 2005 Posted 9 January 2005 Yep I thought the same Davie. But Levein should have mentioned Canero as he does play in the same position as Makin, just so we know what's going on.
Scow Posted 9 January 2005 Posted 9 January 2005 "Chris Makin turned his ankle in the second half so we had to replace him. I don't think it is too serious, but it is another injury that we could do without. Thankfully We have got Alan Maybury in and he can play in that position, so it is not as much of a disaster as it would have been." I must admit I laughed at that.
Ash Posted 9 January 2005 Posted 9 January 2005 I don't get it , Canero was on the bench for the Burnley away game so he might still be in the frame.

He don't like Canero, that's pretty obvious, and making comments like that i think is to tell the fans and Canero himself, that he aint in his plans. Maybe an incident happened when he played against Hearts up in Scotland? I dont know. He's a decent enough player we've seen that, and we've seen Makin is shit
Anish Posted 9 January 2005 Posted 9 January 2005 But the strange thing is that Canero started the first few games that Levein was in charge. He didn't play badly either and now he's just disappeared without any real reason.
Ric Flair Posted 10 January 2005 Posted 10 January 2005 It's weird, he's done a similar thing with Heath. Heath played 4 or 5 games and then vanished for a month or so. Canero was forgotten alot under Adams aswell, there must be a hidden factor here. Whether he's not settled down south and his football is suffering i'm not sure, but whenever i've seen him he's been the best right back/right winger we've had in years. It's time Levein settled this mystery once and for all.
Steven Posted 10 January 2005 Posted 10 January 2005 I just think he is not fit half the time. I also think the disaster thing would be if Canero and Stearman are effectively our only options on the right. Not a reflection on the players themselves.

step Posted 10 January 2005 Posted 10 January 2005 I noticed, as soon as Maybury and MDV removed their tracksuits Makin started to limp.
Stuliasz Posted 10 January 2005 Posted 10 January 2005 Just noticed Makin has had his best and worst performances of the season against the blunts.
Hoof Fox Posted 10 January 2005 Posted 10 January 2005 I noticed, as soon as Maybury and MDV removed their tracksuits Makin started to limp. 53643[/snapback] Shame they didnt do it in the first minute then

Makin has proved his worth in what we paid for him. bob all. I can't wait untill he leaves, he is so much like John Curtis it's unbelievable, even down to the disproportionate sized head.
