They really like hyping up the new shirt to boost sales and it works. I was a manager at a JJB outlet in Enfield about 5 or 6 years ago when England launched the shirts and what we had to do was ridiculous. At the close of business (8pm - Retail Park - BASTARDS!!) we had to BLACKEN the windows (loads of them) so you couldnt see through and then had to arrange the whole stores walls to accomodate a big bay area with toblerones and other graphics on the wall to display the new kit. It was like being in a James Bond movie or something. The carnage on the day of release was funny also as these people queued for hours for a shirt that was going to be readily available by the thousand. People arguing in store was like the first day of a Harrods sale or the last chance to buy a Nintendo Wii or something!! Class stuff
