Matt Posted 14 April 2008 Author Posted 14 April 2008 No more for me, I can't watch Skins without Sid. That's what i'm thinking. Don't think I can watch anymore. TBH I think this series as a whole has been quite poor, but to get rid of all the characters we know is stupid. The main reason I watched was for Michelle, but the rest of the group was pretty good. I'll give it a chance with new characters next series but can't see it working. Might be some new fitty(s) in it though 1st series really liked was a good programme but this hasn't been the best really.

The only episode that stood out for me this series is when Tony and that strange girl were on the induction day at uni. *The nudity had no bearing on that comment.

I don't just watch it for that, but it helps As I said it hasn't been a fantastic series this one but have watched it because all the characters are great, next series we may get new good characters, and I don't know how to explain it without contradicting myself but it'll be the same but like a different programme (i,e - Getting to know all the characters again). As like usual as post I can't really explain but I know what I mean myself!

Fox You Forest Posted 17 April 2008 Posted 17 April 2008 Fans may feel strongly about the entire cast of the show including Nick Hoult, Hannah Murray and Mitch Hewer being dumped to make way for a new set of teenagers. Other new characters will include Eastern European and a male character who is said to be "a real nasty piece of work". The group will also center around current main character Tony's younger sister who starred in the first two series of the show.When asked if the current characthers could return for one of guest appearances it has been said "I just can't quite see what the benefit of that would be, other than for them to say 'hi'. We haven't ruled it out, but I think it's unlikely." Thats from the director so they are getting rid of them.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 I just finished watching series 2 it was different and at times slightly difficult to follow but i still enjoyed it. The last episode was a bit sad in a way and left a few loose ends but at least we sort of knew that they were all ok except for chris obviously

All I know is that they've got some lad from Congo, Tony's sister, her annoying friend that gets on my nerves, and Pukey from This Is England in it. I'll still watch it and gives these new characters a go but I don't think the risk would've paid off.
