Aussie Ram Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Hello Fox Fanatics. At sad times like these the football fraternity come together and forget their differences briefly. I am a life long Rams supporter now living in Perth, West Australia. I spoke with Sarah last night and she told me about the tributes on this forum, so I logged on and have tears in my eyes as I registered and write this brief note. I have known Neil for about 7 years. We worked together for around 6 months and have remained friends and in touch. I was only talking with him earlier this month about catching up when I am next in England this Easter. I think between you all you have very eloquently said the right things about Neil so I have little to add, other than I took to him the second I met him and he truly was one of lifes genuine characters. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched. Thank you for allowing me on to your site to pay my respects to a top, top bloke.
Teeno Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Absoloutly gutted, he was a cracking bloke. I don't think anyone can ever have a bad word to say about him, he was so genuinly nice. Don't know what to say really gutted, my thought are with his family.
Ultra Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I've been offline for most of the week so have only just learned of this tragic news. It left me deeply shocked and genuinely saddened. As previous contributors have stated, Janx was a man of many opinions. Though I didn't always share those opinions, I respected him for his general good humour and his commitment to City. He will be a great loss to this board, but an even bigger one to his wife and son, to whom I send sincere condolences. R.I.P Janx

THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 8 February 2007 Posted 8 February 2007 Sounds like an absolute top bloke, his philosophy on life I could quote as my own, and although I didn't know him personally, reading this thread makes me feel as if I've lost one of my own friends. Very sad indeed.
The Stig Posted 9 February 2007 Posted 9 February 2007 again like most people only knew form posts on here, but this is tragic, my condolences to all his family and RIP Janx
Nationwider Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 This thread is now unstickied, but will remain open for people that haven't done so to pay their respects. It will probably reside in the Archive thread in due course.
Phube Posted 26 February 2007 Posted 26 February 2007 Blimey... I've just got back, only to read this thread. It' happened on the day I left! Like most on here I never met him, but he seemed a top bloke, always very funny. I extend my sincere condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P.
