Mark Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 Tragic news. My condolences and deepest sympathy to you and his family. RIP Janx.
filbertway Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 Don't know what to say Sorry for the loss Janx seemed like a good bloke RIP mate.
Libertine Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 I am absolutely gobsmacked. Funny guy and we shared a few musical interests so I always enjoyed seeing what he had to say. RIP buddy.
securedfox Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 I live in Wakefield myself, but sadly never met Neil. This is awful news. Sarah you and your family have my deepest sympathy.
Daggers Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 I am totally lost for words. Jankers was the last person that made me laugh so much that beer flew out of my nose. He was an incredible wit, I am at a loss to put into words how I feel at the moment apart from that he was a man who's heart was always in the right place. Gutted. Absolutely gutted.
lcfcalan Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 Myself , Mark and Lee had the pleasure of meeting Neil for a drinks a few times over the past few years, and are 'richer ' for having had him in our lives . Condolences to you Sarah , I hope through your tears you and your son keep your memories with a smile on your face. A nice bloke who ' lit up the room' with his presence. RIP Neil.
Simon Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 Am speechless, I was never fortunate enough to meet him, but his posts on here always made me smile. My thoughts are with you and your family Sarah. Rest in Peace Neil.
lildave3 Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 I'm shocked. I never met the guy but he seemed a really funny and nice bloke. He will be missed. RIP
Birdy Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 As someone who knew Janx well i am deeply shocked and gutted by this news. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have known him these last 5 years, he was the king of men, the best. He's helped me through some tough stuff over the last couple of years, enjoyed a few beers with him post-footy and had the pleasure of his witty sharp, dry humour. To all of us that knew him, and to those that loved him, quite simply, our lives will never quite be the same. To Sarah, and his dear little lad, I can only express my dearest condolences, he was a special man who made time for everyone. The world is a lesser place without him. At the next match, I will be down the pub having a pint in his name. I hope a few of you will join me.
Katy Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 Very, very sad to hear about Janx, we had many a silly run in on here but 'in real life' we got on well. Ill never forget how kind and helpful he was on here when I asked for help on a personal subject. My thoughts are with you Sarah and your little lad, I hope some of the lovely words written by the people of Foxes Talk can go a little way into comforting you at this sad time. Rest in Peace Janx
Shum Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 I am truly in shock as to what has happened. Janx (Neil) was someone I had the utmost respect for - he was a great man on so many levels. He has helped me through many difficult times, and was always on hand to offer advice when I needed it. I had the pleasure of meeting and socialising with the man on many occasions and everytime it was an absolute pleasure. To Sarah and your young lad, I offer you my deepest sympathies. Janx - R.I.P my friend.
bigneville Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 R.I.P Janx. Some of your comments seemed to brighten up even the darkest of days. Best wishes to you and the family Sarah R.I.P Janx
Swabianfox Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 I'm shocked to hear this. I have met Janx a few times over the years (and a few pints) and I have always found him very friendly and very funny. A dedicated City fan and a genuinely good bloke. I'm sort of speechless right now but I would like to express my sincerest condolences to you, Sarah, and the little lad.
Alexikokopops Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Really tragic news. My thoughts are with his family. Upsetting. RIP
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 I don't usually get on board with internet tributes, but my sincerest condolences to the family. Seemed like a genuinely spirited guy. Truly, truly sorry.
Smudge Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 I have never met Neil nor really corresponded with him but I am absolutely gutted by this news. My daughter is exactly his age; having just spent a week with her and her family, I cannot comprehend what it would be like to lose her at that age. Sarah, my heartfelt condolences to you and your son.
Bert Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 How sad. I'm absolutely gutted, i've only just found out and have tears in my eyes. I never met Janx, but i know he was a truly wonderful person. Lord Nibblington Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 R.I.P Janx. Was absolutely gutted to hear the news. You will be missed.
andy_croydz Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 I still cant believe it to be honest, Craig(klaxon) rang me earlier and told me and at first it just didn't register in my mind, because you just never expect anything like this to happen to someone you know, I met him a few times in the past and I know many people were fond of him and liked him, goodness knows how you are feeling Sarah. You have been very brave to post about this on here such a short time after you lost him, I hope you can take heart from remembering how great a guy he was and if you ever need support we are all here for you on Foxestalk R.I.P Neil a.k.a Janx
Matt Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Never met him, but still this has shocked me. I have had the same experience, and it will be hard but you will get through it! RIP, and best wishes to the family.
