oh my god I am really shocked by this news, infact I am stunned I have known him via msg boards for a good few years know our mutual love for comedy has always been something I have really appreciated we loved so much of the same stuff, he was my comedy partner in crime the banter with him was second to none he really really was a top bloke

as The Peoples hero said he certainly was "one of the nicest, funniest and most genuine people you could meet." and is a real loss to us all.

I can't imagine how you are all feeling now I am sure all his friends and family are devastated to lose someone so special and our thoughts must be with them at this terrible time. To be honest I am so stunned at this news I am really lost for words!

RIP Janx you were a top top bloke!!!

My thoughts are with you and your family at this terrible time.

Judging by what is being said by people that knew Neil, the world is a sadder place than when he graced the lives of those he loved.

Didn't know the guy personally... but I think the messages left by those who did know him speak volumes.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Janx in person - he came across through his FoxesTalk persona as a funny, passionate and sincere guy.

I can only offer my sympathies to his family and all those who knew him in person.

A truly fantastic person who will be missed. A pleasure to be around, one of the very few genuine guys left around and an amazing person.

Just to give you people an in sight to Janx. this copy and paste was from quite a while back .

few years back I decided to start a question and answer session between people on here, tbh it was a pretty good idea cos it gave us a better insight into the people we conversed with about LCFC and life in general.

Anyhoo, Fluff trawled through the old threads(must've took him ages!) to find Janx's answers and then posted then on the online site, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to re-post them here, for people who didn't know Janx just so they could see a bit of what the guy was about.

The names above each set of questions are people who posed them.

Hey there Mr Janx! Hope to see you at the weekend for a few.

Shame we didn’t matey!

You seem to post a lot during working hours, shouldn't you be working?

I do don’t I? Right that’s it, I better stop now’ No in all seriousness mate, it’s the only time that I am sat in front of a PC for a prolonged length of time.

The one at home is

a) crap

b) too slow

c) in the lving room

d) a little matter of Chas getting bored watching me tap away

It's a strange language you have had to master , living oop t'north ,

what sayings or expressions that your local friends/neighbours say, still make you chuckle?

There are toooo many to mention but I remember being very confused when I first started working, went to buy a sarnie and was asked what I should have it in’I went for Cob, they looked a little non-plussed and I tried ‘bap’ then ‘roll’ etc etc unti they asked if I meant ‘BREADCAKE’ cake’bread??

Oh the one I like the most is ‘put wood in toil!’ which translate to ‘close the door please!’

You have a great sense of humor, as we see on the message boards here. What would you say really pi$$es you off and gets your 'goat' ?

Again far too many to mention as I subscrbe to the ‘grumpy old man’ membership,.. txt spk’chavs’petty crime’punctuality! Actually Punctuality is the worst, it translates to eith not caring, or being lazy or apathetic.! Grrr

Fluff

What would your honest answer be if Janx Junior comes home one day and says.."Dad, would you please take me to see a D***y game one day?"

It would probably start with a rousing chorus of ‘wash yer mouth out son’.’

To be fair the most likely scenario is Can I go to Leeds Utd, which to me is JUST as Bad, but fair play to the lad, if I start taking him to Leicester and he then changes his mind then I will live with it, but I don’t know to be honest, we had this chat on Saturday night and I said that I hoped he got into Rugby, Hockey or Ballet in preference to going to Leeds!

How tough was the Great North Run?

Lets not drag this up again sob sniff!

John Cleese or Michael Palin?

Gotta go for Palin on this one, I think that Cleese has turned into a ‘one trick pony’ whilst Palin has grown from ‘teamplayer’ to genius in his own right.. I think I would be in his camp when they split!

Lisa P1p

1) What are the best and worst things about women?

Doofers and Nagging!

Serious answer, Sensitivity and Nurture, and Nagging!!

2) What are the best and worst things about men?

Best.. hmm we don’t bicker amongst ourselves, worst’ we do fight when we get ***ed’well I don’t but some do!

3) If you had a choice, would you come back as a man or a woman?

No choice there’. Man’ We have it EASYLIFE!!

Chards

1) Did you enjoy 'Sorrel life?

No, but then I was sent to a ‘posh’ school and spent most of my time ‘running the gauntlet’ Sorrel used to be WELL rough, but its just middle class niceness nowadays! There used to be about 4/5 clans than ‘ran’ sorrel when we were kids, between me and my 3 brothers we managed to get into fights with ALL of them!

2) How much had you had when you had that photo of you with your mush stuck to the window!!?

lol I can answer this’A Barrel of red wine! Yes a Barrel, I had been drinking all day and night on hols in France and it went down easy but came up even more so’ barrel (small about 4-5 bottles)!

3) As my missus is a Yorkie, what do you think are the best and worst elements of a yorkshire lass??

The best is that they are a tough and hardy breed, and have a crcacking sense of humour, worst.. they also pack a punch and go off like fishwives should you cross em!

Dee

The old reincarnation question! Its for going to happen, what would you like to come back as?

Me, is that possible, I would like the chance to change o few things and right a few wrongs, and get to know my dad better as we have never been close’ ooh heavy!! Sorry, what I should have said was Kelly Brooks PantS!!

2. You are stuck on an island for 12 months (on your own, with plenty of food and drink) what 3 items could you not live without?

My pics of Chas, my pics of tut wife, and a football, that I could paint a face on and call him ‘Wilso’ for company..oh sha9 that’s been done!

3. If you weren't English what nationality would you choose to be? Mongolian, seen a few docs recently and they just seem to be totally chilled and love everyone, Not sure Genghis would have been the same!

Jay

Paul "bag of Shi te" Calf

Gareth " your a tiger rrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaah" Cheeseman

or

Little Ottles finest handy man Ernest Moss-

which Steve Coogan character are you most like?

An amalgam of the first two’definitely NOT the third, but if you had met me most people would probably say Gareth’. And it is the funniest of the Six!

Jonesy Rules

1. chocolate beer a good idea? explain!

Untrue! Never mix them, it could cause serious hueying!

2. if you could have any one person, dead or alive, who is famous but not a sportstar to play for LCFC who and why?

Daniel Lambert, look it up’stick him in goal!

3. Monday or Wednesday which is worse? Explain

Done this one’post Wednesday noon is ‘over the hump’ and ‘downhill’ so Monday is particularly bad.

BF

1) what were you doing when you 'happened'' onto the messageboards, what do you think of the place in general and what do you think of the 'community' in general??

Cant remember to be honest, I think I used to visit the old boards or another one anyway, The community in general is fantastic, I have net some top people, but there is always going to be the danger of ‘different types’ of people NOT getting on and having differing opinions, these should be embraced, as our ONLY common link is the love of our team’ apart from Rich! Who loves Cov! lol

2)World Debt.....do you think it should be cleared, bearing in mind that the third world countries will probably NEVER pay back the money they owe??

Yes, hey if we can do it and get away with it why not the third world! lol

To be honest it’s a complex subject and is NOT easy, but the major powers would NOT want Africa and Asia on the same level, they would be FAR TOO powerful as they are very rich in resources!

3)your best day as a LCFC fan ever...please describe it in detail.

Very very tricky! I know I am supposed to go for the usual ones of Worthy cups and Promotions, and Play offs, so if I had to then D***y Play off is up there, but I actually loved the 5-2 over Sunderland, seeing Collymore and Heskey together it all seemed and seems like a dream! Awesome that day!

Preaching

If you were given a free car but it was bright pink would you drive it?

I would question anything ‘free’ but seeing as My car is the second biggest expense next to the mortgage, oh and nursery I would say ‘yeah f-u-ck it’!

2) Who is the worst ever LCFC player that you have ever seen and why?

Oh so many to consider and mention but in recent history I would say Lee Marshall, I NEVER saw him do ANYTHING worth while!

3) Jason Wilcox or Jordan Stewart?

trickier still but I would bin the both, but if I had to keep one I would reluctantly say Jordan as he has some potential no matter how small to improve with age!

Ady

Have you ever done drugs? if so what and when?

Yes, but wont comment on the rest’ you never know who’s watching (big brother)!!

2) on women.... which is worse - hairy pitts or hairy nipples?

Nipples without a doubt!! Blooarghh! Actually I have a mate who is physically sick when you talk to him on this subject’really sick! lol

3) best alcoholic drink ever?

‘best’ hmm, I tend to drink until I am pi55ed so am not sure If that is a good way to describe it, but I will be boring and say JD and Coke, I am yet to get a hangover on it and it always picks you up when you are flagging and reached your ‘lager limit’.

Bigedblue

If you were to die and come back as the panty crotch of anyone in the world who would it be?

Already answered this one’ Ahhh Kelly! No Not R Kelly.. aaah Kelly

What is your most memorable experience good or bad regarding a leicester city game?

at the moment, I would say Saturday, but it is still fresh in the memory!

Why are you smiling on your picture when It looks like you are working?

I love my job, but that isn’t why I was smiling, bizarrely someone pointed a camera at me and said ‘smile’ so I naturally obliged! lol

James

1) The Fruit War Question.

Sorry missed that one!

2) Make your own superband.

Dave Grohl, Me and Bonio. That should be a good start..

3) I want to be as cool as you. Please provide me with some pointers. You are already ahead of me mate! But keep saying nice things about me .. that’s bound to make you REALLY cool!

Loz

1) Is this KM, KY thing going to be a hark back to my schooldays, when I used to get picked just before the fat kid by the captains of the football teams? Why did this happen?

Its possible, I cant answer that one, its probably cos you were c-ra-p like I was, but I always managed to wangle the armband, or owned the ball so I would always get a game!

2) Beating D***y in the Play-off final, winning the league cup under O'Neill the first time, or a threesome with ANY two women of your choice? Discuss.

I wouldn’t want to be greedy, but I would like to think that all could happen!

3) What is your favourite film of all time and why? and what do you think is the GREATEST film of all time (if it differs from your fave)?

Oh Loz, ,this is a constant cause for debate with me, I am pretty traditional, but there are so many to choose for so many reasons,. My fave is Godfdather 1 or 2 (3 is pants), Good fellas or Shawshank’.but I also love a film called ‘A matter of life and Death’ starring David Niven, made in the forties’ watch it some time, if you think Peter Jackson can do effects, this was made 60 odd years ago and had amazing technological advances in it. And it’s a sweet story ,. Ahh!

Shum

1) Do you get peed off with tyhe fact that you can't get Pukka Pie up norf??

Oh yes, it’s a real problem, they only seem to go as far as Sheffield and then they STILL aren’t as good as the ones at LCFC or my chippy at ‘home’.

2) What is your the one thing you have done in your life that you would change?

Far TOOO many, but I would like to be a Doctor or Lawyer and I know I could have been either, but pi55ed my life away in the formative years!

3) "Doofers are great"... Discuss.... Cant say any more to that old stick!!

Hopken

1- Have you ever worn a pair of socks of a different colour/type. Frequently, do you mean you don’t change your socks? Actually I have..on a few occasions, as I leave Very early and it is more than often Dark!

2- Have you ever worn ladies underwear (ie. frilly knickers) for yours or your partners pleasure?

Blimey Hop’ erm Yes (sniggers)!

3- Name a City X1 and manager comprising of non -footy historical figures giving reasons for positions?

This one needs a couple of hours, pints and far more thought power than I can muster today, following a large amount of alcohol!

IB

1) Whatever happened to your mission of trying to track me down?

I know where you live! Keep looking over yer shoulder.. actually you have observed fine netiquette of late, so the heat is off!

Swissalex

What lesson of your parents' do you remember most or had the biggest impact in your own life?

None stick out, but its amazing the way that in dealing with Charlie, a LOT of their parenting techniques come out, so I guess they did OK cos it seems to work with him and I haven’t turned out too bad, and nor have my brothers, so they must be half decent!

What's the good part of getting older?

Experience, and the fact that you can impart advice to those who need it,’ I was the youngest of four and never had a little brother or sister, so I enjoy telling people how it is! And say ‘I know’ Ive been there!’

Since I consider you a very cheerful lad, when was the last time you were really ***ed off, I mean REALLY ***ed off?

lol

Saturday, and again Sunday. My Nan died, but its cool she was 93! To be fair, not much really gets me down, and I mean Really down, like you say I try to be cheerful!

Jay ‘again

What are you reading currently?

Billy

Would you rather be a small fish in a big pond or a big fish in a small pond?

The latter, I tend to end up that way anyway, so as I believe in the fact you gravitate to comfort zones, I guess that’s me! I would prefer to be a pike in a fishpond actually’ yummy!

What's the most embarrasing thing you've ever done?

I think that should say ‘who’etc’!

I am constantly making a T-I-t of myself. But I think that ‘keeps it real’ man and shows you are human. It doesn’t do to be tooo uptight dude!

Right that’s it!!

Never met him in real life and never really spoke to him on here much apart from once when we spoke about Mountsorrel but he always came across as a passionate Leicester City supporter! Sorry for your loss, I'm sure his memory will live on on these forums as well as in real life. RIP Janx.
