Janx Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 Very sorry to have to tell all those who attended The Foxes games and knew Neil Jarvis the following very sad news.................... Neil was tragically killed in a car accident on the evening of Friday 26th January . I know he was a life long fan of the Foxes and will be missed by all those he chatted with over Pukka pie and peas, or fish, chips and gravy at the matches and all those who experienced his wit and patter over the chat page. At the moment, it is very difficult to comprehend that at the age of 36 - I am now a widow with a 4 year old Son who was so looking forward to attending the matches with his Daddy and already sports a collection of home and away kits. Unfortunately I have not met any of you but I know he enjoyed all your Company - you were a "good crowd" who he had a great laugh with. If you wish to contact me my Email address is [email protected] . Thanks Sarah Jarvis
MC Prussian Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 I still can't quite believe it - hence my previous post! Makes me feel real bad and I somehow lack words. It goes beyond belief. I met Janx during my last stint in Leicester a few years back and I honestly think we've lost a top bloke. I'm sorry and would like to express my condolences to the entire family. So sad. Oh, so sad.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 This has really upset me. I only met him once but I thought at the time what an incredibly funny person he was. It seems inconsequential but this place won't be quite the same without him. I'd like to pass on my condolences too.

lookwhaticando Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 I never met the fellow, but from his postings on FoxesTalk he seemed like quite the character. His presence will surely be missed on FoxesTalk, but more importantly in real life. My deepest condolences to you.
