Janx from Wakefield - Sad News

Very sorry to have to tell all those who attended The Foxes games and knew Neil Jarvis the following very sad news....................

Neil was tragically killed in a car accident on the evening of Friday 26th January .

I know he was a life long fan of the Foxes and will be missed by all those he chatted with over Pukka pie and peas, or fish, chips and gravy at the matches and all those who experienced his wit and patter over the chat page.

At the moment, it is very difficult to comprehend that at the age of 36 - I am now a widow with a 4 year old Son who was so looking forward to attending the matches with his Daddy and already sports a collection of home and away kits.

Unfortunately I have not met any of you but I know he enjoyed all your Company - you were a "good crowd" who he had a great laugh with.

If you wish to contact me my Email address is [email protected] .

Thanks

Sarah Jarvis

I still can't quite believe it - hence my previous post!

Makes me feel real bad and I somehow lack words. It goes beyond belief. I met Janx during my last stint in Leicester a few years back and I honestly think we've lost a top bloke.

I'm sorry and would like to express my condolences to the entire family.

So sad. Oh, so sad.

This has really upset me. I only met him once but I thought at the time what an incredibly funny person he was. It seems inconsequential but this place won't be quite the same without him. I'd like to pass on my condolences too.

never new him personally but thought he was pretty cool from what i saw on here

I never met the fellow, but from his postings on FoxesTalk he seemed like quite the character.

His presence will surely be missed on FoxesTalk, but more importantly in real life.

My deepest condolences to you. :(

I can't believe it.

Janx was a funny kind person who was great to be around. You couldn't ask for anything else from a person

Sorry to hear that. I didn't realise Janx and Neil were the same person. He seemed a great bloke with a sense of fun and a love for life. A sad loss.

I'm deeply shocked, although I never met Neil it was obvious from his postings on here that he was a well rounded, humourous and intelligent guy and will be greatly missed.

Sarah my deepest condolences to you and your son.

I can't believe it :cry::cry: I met Janx a few times a couple of years back when I used to go pub with all the regulars before a city match and I'm absolutely shocked by this news, I really don't know what to say or think right now, this is so sad  You just never expect anything like this to happen.

R.I.P Neil and my thoughts go out to his wife and his family :(

It certainly puts defeat at Cardiff into perspective.

And brings home to us all how finite life really is.

RIP Neil and deepest sympathy to all those close to him.

Both Carl and I are shocked by the news. We would like to pass on our deepest sympathies, Janx was one of the best guys you could call a mate.

RIP matey.
