Bert Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Today, was a day, that no-one thought, would ever be seen. The man that couldn't beat the first man with a corner, and couldn't beat any opposition player, was today Watford's captain. People i give you - JORDAN STEWART. How did this occur??

How did this occur?? It really is quality stuff. Jordan Stewart was/is a plank. Watfords season seems to be going through a mini-revival under his leadership though! Your best bet would be to ask Mark about how it occured - he's very knowledgeable on this matter and brought it up before you : Won two on the bounce since Jordan Stewart was made temporary captain. Yes, I am being serious!
lookwhaticando Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Shouldn't have let him go. Was better than some of the LB's we've used since. After all, he got promoted with Watford and has been a Premiership regular since then...

Jay Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Shouldn't have let him go. Was better than some of the LB's we've used since. After all, he got promoted with Watford and has been a Premiership regular since then... we seem to have a thing for abusing left and right backs at this club, maybe it's because they are close to the pitch but whoever they are they are always singled out for abuse the fans were always on his back and with the amount of abuse we gave him it's no wonder he wanted out
Simi Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Watford hit an all time low. Despite their mini revival they will be playing Championship football next season in my opinon. Whether they will be playing us next season is still to be seen
Geo V Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 He seems to have improved as a player. Last week he was smashing the bar from 35 yards, this week he was clearing the ball of the line with two players steaming in. Ive never really rated him myself but good luck to him...
dandannieldanok Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 I have personally always rated him as a player but then again I rate Matt Heath and people laugh at me for that.

Way too many players that don't do well here and that get released start to thrive outside the Walkers for some odd reason. That means that a) The Walkers is jinxed or b) Belvoir Road is jinxed or d) The managers are not able to get the best out of the players or d) The players think they're not earning enough here or e) They think they're not welcome here or f) They just don't care or g) They don't feel well at the club
Maybes Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Jordan stewart was a top class player at this club and we should have never let him go.
Kilworthfox Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Jordan stewart was a top class player at this club and we should have never let him go. Lets get it straight Stewart was great on his day unfortunately for Jordan is day did not come too often that is why he moved to a lesser club who excelled under good leadership! I remember him playing on the wing vs Manchester City in the F.A cup at night think it was a tuesday replay which we lost 1 vs 3 and i was the most angry i have ever been with a LCFC player he would not take on their full back! I remember losing it and fing and blinging @ him for about 20 seconds before my dad havd to tell me to sit down which i still was calling him a usless **** as he was a winger who kept passing it inside Man o Man was i angry with him it makes me laugh now!
Manwell Pablo Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 OMG this utter bollocks, Gordon Stupid is hated down there with a passion, he still can't be the first man with his set pieces and he still makes daft mistakes. I give you some quotes from the Watford faithful at Villa park "Don't let that ****ing twat take it he'll waste it" "Jordan you ****ing clown what are you doing" "We did we ever sign him" and my personal faviourate "I want Jordan Stewart in a ****ing body bag" They hate him, even more so then we did.
lookwhaticando Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 We'll take him back on a free then. I'm sure he's better than a disgruntled, out of position Maybury.
Simon Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 We'll take him back on a free then. I'm sure he's better than a disgruntled, out of position Maybury. 100% agree. Jordan was not the world's best left back, but he's better than the shower of shit we've got now.
Manwell Pablo Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 The Arrogant **** can go and play on the railway. I want him nowhere near this club.
Flynny Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 Stewart was decent on occasion, and was far worse when we tried to play with his position. Unfortunately he was just a tad shite, in the end. Oh, and as for our left-back situation, why hasn't Tiatto been tried back in his natural role? Seems a no-brainer to me, once he's fit.

Hasn't played left back on a consistent basis for many, many years. Played left wing-back at City under Keegan but that's pretty much the same as playing left wing for us these days.
Joe. Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 Shouldn't have let him go. Was better than some of the LB's we've used since. After all, he got promoted with Watford and has been a Premiership regular since then... Nah at the time I was amazed anybody paid money for him because he was so bad. Couldn't cross a ball to save his life and was generally useless and pathetic... <_<

S'gotta be better than playing either a right-footer or someone with the pace of diarrhoea in there. I'm sure he'll adapt just as well as he has done to playing centre mid and perhaps get forward a bit too.
