potter3 Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Leeds boss Dennis Wise has expressed his frustration at the way certain managers behaved during the transfer window. Wise believes his efforts to bring in new players in January suffered as a result of some managers' unhelpfulness. He claims that a number of individuals refused to return his telephone calls, while others were not totally truthful about the availability of their players. "I'm a bit disappointed that nothing has come of certain players, and a bit disappointed with certain managers if I'm being totally honest," Wise told Sky Sports News. "Sometimes you ring managers up and some managers don't ring you back. "Some managers turn round and say no, their players aren't going anywhere, and all of a sudden you find out the player has gone somewhere else." Wise was impressed with the way some Premiership bosses treated him and feels all managers should show each other the same amount of respect. He explained: "If Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson and Aidy Boothroyd can ring you back and speak to you, it just disappoints you that certain managers have ways of doing things and don't show the courtesy they should do." From SkySports Perhaps it's because nobody likes him.
Lord Nibblington Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Reap as ye shall sow. Perhaps they just though the squeaky little twat was a kid making a crank call?
lookwhaticando Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Perhaps they just though the squeaky little twat was a kid making a crank call? If he called me asking for a player, I'd tell him where he could stick that player.
Nationwider Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Assaults taxi driver. Bites face of Real Mallorca player. Punches team-mate in face whilst he sleeps... Then lectures others on behaviour. **** off Wise. I hope you, Orc-face Poyet and Bates rot in League One for some considerable amount of time.
lookwhaticando Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I want him to relegate Leeds then encounter a bunch of vicious, angry Leeds fans in a dark alleyway one night and be kicked to within an inch of his life. I don't want him to get sacked after all this, though, I'd like him to keep them down there. Meanwhile, moneybags Bates will continue to bag money at the expense of the club.
Nationwider Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Don't waste your energy wishing bad stuff on the guy. You're only coming down to his level... As Steven says, you reap what you sow...
lookwhaticando Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Don't waste your energy wishing bad stuff on the guy. You're only coming down to his level... As Steven says, you reap what you sow... It's impossible for anyone to sink to his level. Even the Devil himself would have a bloody job of it!
surrifox Posted 2 February 2007 Posted 2 February 2007 It's impossible for anyone to sink to his level. Even the Devil himself would have a bloody job of it! makes you wonder why he was ringing the likes of Fergie and Wenger- friendly game of poker round at his place perhaps
The People's Hero Posted 2 February 2007 Posted 2 February 2007 Could I venture the theory that perhaps it's because the man is a ****?
hairy Posted 2 February 2007 Posted 2 February 2007 He explained: "If Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson and Aidy Boothroyd can ring you back and speak to you I am sure it is only because they want to tell him to f@#k off themselves.

I couldn't have put it better myself. Wise is a complete, and I repeat, complete and utter *******.
