Simi Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Any really, depends which ones look the best. I quite like Adidas Stan Smiths they last a long time. I've got some Stan Smiths at the moment and your right they do last a long time. Velcro is the way forward
cisono Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Any really, depends which ones look the best. I quite like Adidas Stan Smiths they last a long time. To me, fit is very important as well....
MC Prussian Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Velcro is evil. Especially the sound of it.
cisono Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Nike boots are quality. Though I'm told Valsport and Mizuno do a decent pair as well. Surely it depends what you use them for (ie type of trainers)? Mizuno running trainers are a classic.... But most of my cross-trainers tend to be Nike.
Stevosevic Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 always have and always will were bizarre skate shoes from the likes of DVS, ADIO, EMERICA, DC and so on in any colour but white not one for wandering around looking like I'm staring in Saturday Night Fever pikey, skater boy!
Sly Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Brooks or Asics for running. Adidas or Nike for fashion. But only the plain retro ones. Spot on.....adidas classics
cisono Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 Spot on.....adidas classics What is the deal with retro stuff... particularly retro trainers? They often don't seem to offer enough support...
Sly Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 What is the deal with retro stuff... particularly retro trainers? They often don't seem to offer enough support... Now i'm in my mid twenties, I find it hard to adapt to these new concept of trainers with all the bright colours that don't match the other clothing you have on. I prefer retro trainers becuase they are plain and simple. Easily match with a pair of jeans. My current ones are actually Ben Sherman and Kickers.
Sly Posted 3 February 2007 Posted 3 February 2007 And my football boots are always Adidas. I refuse to buy anything else.

I see, leave the brightly coloured trainers to the young ones then PS: yes plain colours are best with your civvies
