I quite like Adidas Stan Smiths they last a long time.

To me, fit is very important as well....

Nike boots are quality. Though I'm told Valsport and Mizuno do a decent pair as well.

Surely it depends what you use them for (ie type of trainers)?

Mizuno running trainers are a classic....

But most of my cross-trainers tend to be Nike.

always have and always will were bizarre skate shoes from the likes of DVS, ADIO, EMERICA, DC and so on in any colour but white not one for wandering around looking like I'm staring in Saturday Night Fever

Brooks or Asics for running.

Adidas or Nike for fashion. But only the plain retro ones.

Spot on.....adidas classics

What is the deal with retro stuff... particularly retro trainers?

They often don't seem to offer enough support...

Now i'm in my mid twenties, I find it hard to adapt to these new concept of trainers with all the bright colours that don't match the other clothing you have on.

I prefer retro trainers becuase they are plain and simple. Easily match with a pair of jeans.

My current ones are actually Ben Sherman and Kickers.

I dont suppose its a good time for me to say Converse.... although i do have a pir of lacoste too. Not a fan of K-swiss, they look too much like moonboots, rather chavy and, a friend of mine got absolutely slaughtered for wearing them a few years ago, now look at everyone. Ridiculous.

Like I said, fashion. I wouldn't use them for sport. As I said.
