FNQ Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 dear oh dear, who taught u that Internal sources. All I can say.
Mort Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 Got mine reserved today!... but why is it i always end up in the West Stand, its like my default... should i brave the singing section instead?
Daggers Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 Internal sources. All I can say. Sure It's fully understandable why you should have to keep so tight lipped on the contentious issue of us selling tickets for a game. So, you know the bloke who restocks the drinks machine in the ticket office
Nath Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 Got mine reserved today!... but why is it i always end up in the West Stand, its like my default... should i brave the singing section instead? DO IT! also alot of people said expectation of arounhd 25,000 who told you diferent? i believe around 10,000 more need to be sold by saturday for a sell out!
FNQ Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 Got mine reserved today!... but why is it i always end up in the West Stand, its like my default... should i brave the singing section instead? I would suggest not. Unless you're going to sing??
filbertway Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 Standing and swearing were indeed the main topics. We didn't actually have much discussed about it to be honest. Standing isn't going to be permitted all game, as the main man behind Health and Safety is under immense pressure from SAGs to get our standing situation sorted (apparently the back of the Kop and L1 are going to be targeted pretty hard soon). As for swearing, the club know that it is part and parcel of football, and they know they will be unable to prevent it. They are going to wait and see what the reaction is from the family stand before raising this issue with us again. Gesturing constantly at the away fans (middle finger, two-finger or willy puller signs) could lead to people being removed for their own safety as Cov are notorious for coin-throwing, and it is almost inevitable there will be some people in the ground only there for trouble. I went to the T/O today and reserved around 15 seats for people today on Row KK, Row JJ and Row II - the people who had given me their details prior to today. They definitely have a ticket for this game and have to take their vouchers for this game to the Ticket Office in order to obtain their tickets. As has already been said, anybody wishing to buy tickets on the day of this game needs to pass their ST details on to me or Andy so we can get them sent to the Ticket Office and have a seat reserved for you. Again, you will need to take your ST with you so the club can take the voucher from it. Nothing wrong with that, aslong as it's at least 50p's
leeleic Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 I reckon we'll be close to a sell out. 28/9k me thinks. You wait, the atmosphere will be electric! We'll turn em over 3-0. goals from the horse, levi and huuuuuuuuummmmmmmmeeee! and they'll end the game with 10 men. Can't wait to stick it to the cov scum!
Leicfox Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 Fan Power.. The Blue Army will be out in force this weekend to welcome their latest recruit to the Walkers Stadium. And the club are now confidently predicting that there will be a crowd of over 25,000 inside the Stadium to welcome their new hero to the fold this weekend. http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~982235,00.html

THE MAGICIAN Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 Hello everyone this is my first post! First of all I just want to welcome all those that are coming over to N BLOCK tomorrow, I have been sitting in N block for the past 3 years and believe me when I say we have took some stick from the away support in that time. Now that our saviour MR MANDARIC has finally arrived I am very confident the good times will be back and I along with the new N blockers can give more than we get in the coming months. When I first heard about a group of city fans trying to do something about our shocking atmosphere it was the best thing I have heard in years!!! So to all those involved I would like to dedicate my first post to you Please, please, all those who are there tomorrow in N block sing your hearts out and make this great idea a huge success. As you can see by my picture I will be singing as always with my son

Your lad will get to know what a proper games atmosphere is like prob for the 1st time tomorrow just like when my dad took me to City in the late 80's
lcfc_jme Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 The sounds coming out of the ticket office are very promising. I spoke to them on the phone earlier and after reserving a few seats for a couple of people for tomorrows game, I asked them for a rough figure regarding numbers, and they told me that they were now selling tickets on Row E. Everything further back than that should be completely taken up tomorrow. Oh, and I'd just like to say a major thankyou to everybody who has supported us with the idea. I just hope you will all turn out in good voice tomorrow afternoon so that it wasn't a complete waste of time. Thanks a lot, Jamie.
