lcfc_jme Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 if i want to get tickets for block N on the day of the game will i have to queue at the main ticket office or will there be a sub ticket office open selling tickets for block N ?? I'm currently unsure you will be able to get tickets for N Block on the day of the game, as I'm sure it stated on the OS that you had to purchase them in advance. Though I will know more about this tomorrow evening after I meet with the club.
Strokes Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 Does anyone think the coventry game may actually be a sell out now? I wasn't going because of financial constraints, but i WILL find the money now.

Simi Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 No not a sell out but a lot there im thinking about 27,000 max, which is still pretty good. 27,000 will be about right. Milan coming in will no doubt boost sales. I'm sure he'll be on the pitch at half time.
Katy Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 Three tickets arrived in my postbox this morning all for the beautiful price of £10 each (apparently it's my birthday in February but I always thought it was June, anyway...)
Simon Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 Sorted this morning- sitting in row x. Took me a while to get through so if anyone else is thinking of ringing- sooner rather than later would be my advice...
Sods Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 Sorted this morning- sitting in row x. Took me a while to get through so if anyone else is thinking of ringing- sooner rather than later would be my advice... but did you get to listen to u2
Nath Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 City dont advertise ticketing very well, this SHOULD be a sell out as this game marks an historic time for city, but without the club advertising that, it wont persuade peeps to wonder down, only those who already know what this take over means will go down!
Simon Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 but did you get to listen to u2 It's a beautiful day! Oh yes!
Floating Fox Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 The bloke who I was in the meeting with today said he doesn't expect that many more tickets to be sold and 25k would be a succsesfull attendence
Nath Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 The bloke who I was in the meeting with today said he doesn't expect that many more tickets to be sold and 25k would be a succsesfull attendence care to share the topics in question today, and do you have any more info about saturday?
Floating Fox Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 care to share the topics in question today, and do you have any more info about saturday? Standing and Swearing were the main topics. Standing is not to be permitted for 90 mins, this is not the clubs fault this is through the Safety advisory group who are pressuring the club. We are also apparently not mean to make gestures to away fans (such as giving them the middle finger etc) as this could result in violence (seeing as it is the cov scum ) Not to pleased with it tbh Anyone who gave JME their s/t details has a ticket ready at the ticket office and isto go to the outside window to get their ticket on matchday or before it they want to For those wishing to buy on the day you Need to send me a PM
MC Prussian Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 I'd encourage anyone to go to the Coventry game. Should be a quality day out, fair weather and - who knows? - maybe even the football squad could put some efforts in the game and actually win it for the fans and Mandy.

I was in N block aswell, so beware of the stewards
Floating Fox Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 did they give you any figures on how many you had sold for the N1 block!? wouldnt be suprised to see the whole 800 took up The back 6/7 rows are completely gone now with around 100 at the back and a total of around 350 in the entire block I believe.

We didn't actually have much discussed about it to be honest. Standing isn't going to be permitted all game, as the main man behind Health and Safety is under immense pressure from SAGs to get our standing situation sorted (apparently the back of the Kop and L1 are going to be targeted pretty hard soon). As for swearing, the club know that it is part and parcel of football, and they know they will be unable to prevent it. They are going to wait and see what the reaction is from the family stand before raising this issue with us again. Gesturing constantly at the away fans (middle finger, two-finger or willy puller signs) could lead to people being removed for their own safety as Cov are notorious for coin-throwing, and it is almost inevitable there will be some people in the ground only there for trouble. I went to the T/O today and reserved around 15 seats for people today on Row KK, Row JJ and Row II - the people who had given me their details prior to today. They definitely have a ticket for this game and have to take their vouchers for this game to the Ticket Office in order to obtain their tickets. As has already been said, anybody wishing to buy tickets on the day of this game needs to pass their ST details on to me or Andy so we can get them sent to the Ticket Office and have a seat reserved for you. Again, you will need to take your ST with you so the club can take the voucher from it.

This is the truth. We only have around 100 people grouped together at the back - the 350 figure is for the block as a whole. There's still 3 and a half days for people to get tickets for the game. At this time, I'd be pleased with 150 people at the back.

The gestures to away fans shouldn't be a problem considering one of your main objectives was to be supportive of the team and not focus on having a go at or singing anti opposition songs. Frankly I can't see that happen as it is now so embedded in the psyche of many supporters, which wouldn't be so bad if they were funny/original songs. Cue - You're just a small town in Birmingham
Basingstoke Fox Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 so how much are we able to swear? - its in most good chants tbh and im an extra one in N1 row CC
