Matt Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 Anyone else been gloating to other bitter supporters of other clubs today? My boss is a Derby fan he isn't too fussed about it because afterall there top of the league (Although I keep saying they'll either fuk it up - which is quite unlikly now or they'll be straight back down) and I also work with a Wolves and wow how bitter is he? He definetly in denial! He keeps saying Wolves are and always will be the better team, He consistanly slags Wolves of and says "I'm not really that bothered anymore" but then whenever I mention Milan he straight back with "Wolves are and always will be the better team" I keep saying in recent years prehaps but a few years ago Wolves wern't and hopefully in a year or two we will be once again! At the start of this season we had a 5 pound bet who would finish above each other. He has obviously won it He wants one for next season, I'm not sure yet! I keep saying give me till the summer to decide... Anyone else work with or know got bitter supporters of other clubs?

GO GADGET GO Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 The Cov fans are well hacked off, I live close enough to Cov to hear them moaning from here. The council own their stadium, the average age of their fans is 12 and they only know one crappy song. Beating us now means more to them than it used to (it used to be Villa but they will probably never play them again). HA HA
potter3 Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 Nobody that support other teams at my school are "proper" fans (actually go to games, are actually bothered when they're relegated) so I think anyone will be too bothered about Mandaric.

C-man Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 Anyone else been gloating to other bitter supporters of other clubs today?Anyone else work with or know got bitter supporters of other clubs? I work on saturday mornings in Coventry. This weekend is going to be classic. Turn up in me City shirt, milk our takeover for all its worth, throw a few Dowie insults in, and then hope to God we do the biz in the afternoon!
holly Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 live with a derby fan, makes my life hell! i was silly enough to make a drunken bet that fryatt would be top championship scorer this season £20 on it oooopss! however we have changed it now and its £50 (which he gets, again i was drunk and not really thinking) but he gets the 50 if they go up and we go down, the £20 no longer stands so i`m optimistic i get to keep all my money. got a fiver from him last season though as we bet we would finish higher than each other

Leonisco Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 Haha my dad (F*rest fan ) is so pissed off - he won't admit it, but you can tell he's so jealous that we're going places and his clubs gonna be stuck in League 1 for years!

Living in North London I at times walk about and feel like someone just kidnapped my son when it comes to football as apart from a couple of family members, everyone supports Arsenal, Spurs, Chelski and amusingly Man Utd ( plenty!). Today was a different feeling though. I have been gloating all day and batted away the comments like "If we sold Henry, we could buy 20 Leicesters" or "I cant name one of your players" with my own positive slant that we will be back. I have tried all day to find a Leyton Orient, Barnet or QPR fan but there arent many about.

London_Fox Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 One of my housemates is an Ipswich fan so it's double gloating this week...and he hates it! Especially when the question was asked in the press conference about why Leicester and not 'Wolves, Ipswich or QPR' (something like that). My other housemate is a Liverpool fan so not much to gloat about there, the takeover up there was worth a little more and is promising a little more then ours so he has still has bragging rights...for now!
Maybes Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 i have a cardiff supporting mate who is annoyed Yeah. . . I would be aswell If I was welsh

I love comments like that, "I cant name one of your players" well, how good of you to admit you know jack shit about football.
Wils Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 An Ipswich fan i work with is very bitter today. Not that ive been rubbing it in or anything.
