Flexx Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 With Todorov on his way it's clear we are now overloaded with strikers, so why bother paying Elvis's wages to sit on the bench (if he even makes it now). We might aswell send him out on loan to a poorer Championship side or a League 1 team with a view to a permanent move and start the clearout for a new era! to Hammond, McCarthy, Douglas, Hughes and De Vries by the start of next season. Oh and Johnson and Cadamarteri.
lildave3 Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Elvis should have been gone long before now, can't stand the boy. Too lazy for my liking, good riddance.
Samu Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 I wouldn't say he was lazy, I think he definitely tries hard and puts in a lot of effort and running. Unfortunately though he's not the most talented footballer or greatest finisher.
Flynny Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Hammond would probably tear apart League 1. It's about his level, really. I do think he tries hard, he's just a tad crap. Wayward finishing. I'd still like to see him on the wing before he goes.
Thracian Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 For sure we won't be keeping everyone. The situation - and therefore the requirements - are changing almost daily.
lookwhaticando Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 For sure we won't be keeping everyone. The situation - and therefore the requirements - are changing almost daily. With the number of names being banded about, I'd suggest the club is flying by the seat of its pants and the situation is actually changing by the hour.

MC Prussian Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 i thought it was quite amusing that hammonds' first contribution to the game was to be caught off side He always does that - you could call it his special move. Downside to this is that he's using it about a dozen times per game. Yeah, loan him out.
Simon Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Not only is it time to loan Hammond out, but perhaps a few others as well... If Weso is alledgedly unfit and not going to get in the squad, then he might as well go out on loan to League One, get some match practice and get fit. The same goes for Louis Dodds, and Rab C Douglas as well! What is the point in them not even getting anywhere near the squad and keeping them here with no reserve team football? On another matter, can we just send Glombard back to Cardiff?! It's abundantly clear he's not going to get a look in now.
Leonisco Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 I think he's a useful player to bring on as a sub when the opposition defence is tired and he can wear them down with his pace. He's also a good outlet if were holding onto a lead - gives us the option to put the ball into the corners for him to chase. Quality atmosphere in block N today. The one about Micky Adams was sound and yeah there really is ONLY ONE CITY Best one was "You can stick your Iain Dowie up your arse - SIDEWAYS!!"
Simi Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Does Hammond have a future at the club ? I doubt it. Kelly would surely only loan him out if he has a role to play next season. Just get rid of him.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Does Hammond have a future at the club ? I doubt it. Kelly would surely only loan him out if he has a role to play next season. Just get rid of him. CITY Theres only one city!!! 43 seconds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGR1XYV0tp0
AyewJoking Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Whats the point of Glombard? Is he only here for a month? If we do sign Todorov, I assume he'll be a starter (if fit). Where does that leave Horsfield? He came here because he couldnt get a game at Wigan. Then you have Hume who in my opinion is our best player and should always play. That leaves Fryatt, Cadamarteri and Hammond. Surely Hammond at least must go.

Kilworthfox Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 I think Fryatt should somehow feature but there you go next game keep hume/horse because they were brill I think we should send Elvis Hammond to Iraq to help the poor people and teach them football as a way to bring peace and happyness to such a tortured nation
lcfc_jme Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Probably send him out on loan, with a view to making the move permanent I'd say. Now we have Milan, Hammond is going to be a bit-part player who will eventually become surplus to requirements. He serves no purpose being here. Close the door on your way out.
foxes_fan Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Personally i think it is time to get rid of the useless twat Nevermind loan him out!
Wils Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Its probably about time Hammond actually shows us how he has become a professional footballer and why he is earning more money than i am.
Toby or not Toby Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 hammond is a league one player at best send him out on loan, with a view to a permanent move, hopefully someone will be stupid enough to sign him
