Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 April 2007 Posted 5 April 2007 Care to talk me through it? And me. Three stumps x 2 = 6 Two bails x 2 = 4 One bat = 1 6 + 4 + 1 = 11. And the options were 6, 8, 10 and 13 I think. Well it's already 11 so it can't be the first three. Process of elimination. Dunno what the other two are though.

So I figured you could get by with one set of stumps and a bat and just improvise with the other, so I plumped for six. Not one of my better moments of reasoning, granted.

I think we're both coming across as idiots here to be honest.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 April 2007 Posted 5 April 2007 Ball's wooden.Got cork in it, right? That's 13. Oh I had number 13 down provisionally as Monty Panesar's interview technique.

Rincewind Posted 5 April 2007 Posted 5 April 2007 nearly did it. 1/10 I thought the cricket one was nine but there wasn't a 9 to choose from. The question was how many pieces of wood are needed to play cricket. If you are just mucking about you only need one ball and one bat.
Brainy Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I've just heard the answer to the Giant Coarsway* on TV!! * sp?
