Mort Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Listening to Five Live is getting on my nerves now! Their talking as though we're playing a half decent side... oh wait... the tone's becoming more realistic now ... ....ah well... back to the Apprentice... ooh... still selling coffee in Islington!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Well done Gerrard, at least someone fooking cares Yes cos Lampard is sh*te - or is he not playing because of an injury??
Mort Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Brilliant goal. No such thing against a team like Andora... sounds harsh... sounds like Gerrard is the only one playing
lookwhaticando Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Yes cos Lampard is sh*te - or is he not playing because of an injury?? Mr. willy puller done his wrist in the other day, and will be out of action for three weeks. Hence his absence from the 11. It was said Lampard and Gerrard would continue to play together and Hargreaves would be dropped - probably for Carrick or perhaps a proper winger (allowing Lampard and Gerrard to play CM together... oh dear). Seems Wayne Rooney made the team selection for McClaren... saved him doing something ballsy.
Flynny Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Sounds like deciding not to watch was the right call, and it's looking like 2-0 was the right prediction, too. Time for me to be smug.
Mort Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Sounds like deciding not to watch was the right call, and it's looking like 2-0 was the right prediction, too. Time for me to be smug. I'm just waiting for Maca's stupid smug grin and the "its 3 points" bollocks!! ...that he will, rest assured, come out with, oh and probably somthing about it being a "tough game" <_<

He'll also use the word grit copiously.
Brainy Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Nugent has been on for 10mins and stole the goal from Defoe. Nothing special.
Mort Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 "No easy games in international football". He'll also use the word grit copiously. Perhaps throw in... "an English performance" and somthing about being happy with everything bar the lack of goals ...sounds like Nugent's being credited with the third goal... hmmm... somone's about to get fired on the Apprentice...

Andy gone on the Apprentice.
lildave3 Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 What a shocking game that was. Mclaren out, truly awful. Downing was terrible tonight, only left footed left winger we have and he's always cutting back onto his right foot Dyer did well when he came on, and Nugent deserves a medal for that goalsnatch, pure schoolboy stuff But yeah, awful game and we only stuck 3 past 'em. <_<

Now wait... that's Rob's catchphrase. Perhaps throw in... "an English performance" and somthing about being happy with everything bar the lack of goals ...sounds like Nugent's being credited with the third goal... hmmm... somone's about to get fired on the Apprentice... Shame McClaren isn't an apprentice...
filbertway Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Highlight of the game Nugent Class stuff. We should have started like that, shame it took McClaren 45 minutes to realise how we should have played them.
lookwhaticando Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 It's telling, that is. Gerrard and Nugent are the only two players with a rating of over 6.0 on the BBC Rate the Players page for this match. Rate The Players. Downing... unsurprisingly is sitting on a score less than 4. Oh dear ... oh dear oh dear.
