City Fan Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 Noticed a lot of shaking at the Villa game, about shat myself. The stadium definitely isn't strong enough for concerts!

Bollox...that is total rubbish..I work in the construction industry...that stadium is supposed to move...if it didn't I would worry!
Guest Posted 7 April 2007 Posted 7 April 2007 It can't be as bad as the temporary stand at Blackpool.
Sods Posted 7 April 2007 Posted 7 April 2007 Its allways done that, you wait till will play sheffield wednesday and your next to their fans. Because one of their songs they all bounce its all crazy.
Simi Posted 7 April 2007 Posted 7 April 2007 You can feel it bounce. But I have spoke to people that say it is meant to happen. . Not a nice feeling though.

Because one of their songs they all bounce its all crazy. its all ways bin like it I sat in the North Stand for the first three seasons at Filbert Way and it's always shaken when there's been enough away fans jumping around and it probably shakes the away end when we score. Wouldn't be very safe if it was a rigid structure with no flexibility. Probably would be more likely to crack if it was?!
SystonFox Posted 7 April 2007 Posted 7 April 2007 if you can stand still when we score, whereever you are in the stadium it will shake if enough jump up and down rapidly. it is meant too so im told. its always shook as far as i remember when away fans score, its just recentley we've had teams who bring more away (WBA, Derby, Sunderland, Leeds)
Mikey Posted 7 April 2007 Posted 7 April 2007 Yeah it does hake quite a bit but also like when we were all singing d d d d matty fryatt if ya stud still then ya could also feel it shaking when everyone was jumping up and down.
Floating Fox Posted 7 April 2007 Posted 7 April 2007 I like the bouncing. Its genius and it wasn't just the away fans, when we were singing for fryatt it started shaking the stadium as well..But like someone said, its meant to happen
