atmosphere yesterday?

i watched it on TV, our fans sounded poor. Derby were loud although they only sang one song.

I thought the City fans were good against the Derby who were fans bound to make alot of noise.

at least them 'poor' fans were at the game.

i try to get to as many games as possible, but its hard to get to every game when i live in Norwich. so obviously if the game is on TV, from where i live it makes more sense to watch at home.

Lets say iy how it is, we werent that good yesterday in the singing stakes. Derby were always going to be pretty noisy considering they had 3,000 with them and are top of the league but we should have done more. It may take a while yet to get the singing going, hopefully we are better next season.

well from sitting in the kop myself and everyone around me thought they were poor vocally! and i know when we went derby away this season we wernt as good as we can but we still made more noise than they did and were shit! imagine if we was top of the league away at a local derby you wouldnt be able to hear yourself think. well thats what i would like to believe

thought derby were poor noise wish today, but my friend in the derby end said that he couldnt hear our end only L1 and N. i thought the Kop generated a fair amount of noise yest, better than normal tbh.

i still think if everyone moves back to the kop it will make the atmosphere better, i recorded the game and when i got back and watched it the atmosphere was embarrassing for a local derby

N block was quality :D

The Derby fans were poor for saying their top of the league. I mean only around 1k were standing, almost as many city fans standing as that

Also, In the second half they hardly sung at all and I wouldn't go far from saying we outsung them in the second half.

I enjoyed my time anyway.

i couldnt get to the game or watch it on tv, what were both sets of supporters like?

Derby's fans weren't great considering their position in the league, number of supporters they brought and the fact that they were leading for around half of the match!

I think we weren't bad considering our position in the league, recent run of disappointing performances and results and the way we performed for large spells of the match on Tuesday. Our supporters haven't had much to shout about really.

Why would only 1000 standing make them poor.

Try and see this as being put objectively - From where I sit in G2, I can on occasion hear N block but when you look down the ground it just reminds me of say Stoke or Wednesday where a few people gather alongside the away supporters to little effect.

I applaud the efforts you have all made don't get me wrong, but you need to fill your block to make it work. As it stands, we've L1, N1 and two different sectors of the Kop trying to outsing everyone else.

1st point who's coming to stand and sing then? Where are those 35+ thousand who come along for the Wembley trips? only 24+ thousand vs shaggers and 3k were sheep shaggers! so thats 21k for a local derby!

2nd point quite correct so lets all join in 1 area, don't give a monkeys where!

No mate unfortunately I wasnt but the volume was on full blast! Despite living in London. I do get to quite a few games but not as many as I`d like and I cant believe that our fans dont want to get involved in the singing. Its almost a mental block or an embarssment thing with some fans which is a shame.

Hull i see what your saying but we decided not to go into L1 becasue of its bad rep and "Full of chavs attidude" - We wanted a fresh start.

From Away fans we do look like a small group but we have to start somewhere :dunno:

The thing thats gets me most is the attidude of "I like my seat and I'm not moving" and thats why we don't fill N block. Like everyone says the "kop" needs to move into the North stand but no-one seems to give a shit and do anything about it

i couldn't agree anymore, and the sad thing about is that they still call it 'the kop'. And live by the name. How many people have moaned about the atmosphere before and when a great opputunity arises they don't join in or help bring a better atmosphere. But tbh im enjoying n block atm so its all good.

How come their are so many in N block that don't sing though?

It only appears to be about 20/30 that are singing, the rest don't sing unless we're winning, which isn't what it's about.

I think we should all move to the front of the block for a laugh!

N block is very much a foxestalk creation and something that we should be proud of, maybe thats why the wankers off talkingballs lay into it so much!

Without a doubt the bext row,

minus two drunkards

:P

I class those two as The West stand or at least the row behind, we aint having 'em wrecking our gleaming rep.
