MC Prussian Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 We are going down. I don't feel anything when I say this line. I don't care anymore. I honestly give a shit. This club - top to bottom - is in complete shambles and as a quick fix, I'd really love to drop the bomb over the Walkers and Belvoir Drive to stop Leicester City FC from hurting me. This is probably the worst sportive crisis this club has ever experienced. But instead of analyzing the situation and coming up with a rescue plan, it's the same shit week in, week out. Neither the players, nor the managment nor the coach care. They've already accepted total defeat. The constant sweet-talking is there to cover the massive cracks, but those cracks are growing and the lies won't work from a certain point on. The entire organization is in a state of complete delusion and - sadly enough - only the fans still have both eyes and ears open. Oh and it hurts. Ask any fan. It hurts. We talk the talk. And we walk the walk. They don't.
MC Prussian Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Best season... ever!!!!! Fact!!! It's never too late for a fun piece of irony.
lookwhaticando Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 April 14th is the end of his rolling contract apparently. What gave you the impression that a rolling contract had a an 'end'?
potter3 Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Could we have an annoncment that comes up when you log onto this forum that explains what a rolling contract is please
Brainy Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I just accidently pissed on my Leicester shirt. Oops! It'll just stink like the team.

But instead of analyzing the situation and coming up with a rescue plan, it's the same shit week in, week out. It's not mate. Back in 1991 we needed to win on the last day of the season, and rely on WBA losing to retain our place in the old Div 2. Next season we reached our first play off final. Yes, the last three seasons have been truly dreadful. But somehow we will win one more game this season and stay up. I'm convinced next season will be better. We are Leicester. If you post on here you are clearly committed to the Club. We will get better. We will return. And when they do, remember night's like this, and be proud to say you have always been a loyal Leicester fan. We love you Leicester, we do, we love you Leicester we do, we love you Leicester we do, Oh Leicester we love you

And more importantly: who was our coach and who were the players back then? What was the mix like? And how much impact did Filbert Street have back in the days?

What was the mix like? And how much impact did Filbert Street have back in the days? It was truly awful, but thankfully the memories have passed as three years of promotion pushes followed under Brian Little, followed by the Martin O'Neill era which was by far and away the best in my 30 years of the following the City. I remember our goalscorer that day was Tony James, a decent centre back whose career was blighted by injury. Not too disimilar to Kisnorbo. So here you go. Kisnorbo to save our season with a towering header to iscore in the 86th minute to beat Norwich 2-1 this Saturday.
Sods Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 885 made the trip today, which isn't that bad tbh. Wish it was 884 now.
lildave3 Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 It was that bad I turned the radio off when Hughes came on, disgusted with both how we sounded and the two commentators.

Harpenden Fox Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 885 made the trip today, which isn't that bad tbh. Wish it was 884 now. massive respect, and indeed commiserations, to all who travelled to Plymouth today. I'd love the players to put their hands up and pay each supporter who turned up £50, to cover the ticket and petrol, just to demonstrate that they mean what they say when they blather on about 'letting down the supporters', 'we're all hurting in that dressing room blah, blah blah. most of them earn £2,000 to £4,000 per week. If the entire 16 and coaching staff chipped in it would be between 3 and 5 days earnings. Go on lads, do it. Earn some respect. Put your money where your mouth is
Harpenden Fox Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I remember seeing a video, didnt all the fans run onto the pitch when he scored? I think that's right, but tragically I was at my brother in law's wedding in Hertfordshire. Had a little tranny radio and earplug wired through the inside of my suit. Got very drunk that night
