Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Thank God for Jamie Cureton!! If it hadn't been for for his efforts over Easter we really would be in the poo. What's particularly disturbing about this defeat is that we can't even blame the usual suspects (Hughes, Hammond etc.) as they weren't in the starting side. Let's hope and pray McAuley is back for Saturday! Maybe this will make people realise Elvis Hammond is not the reason we are in this position.
Thracian Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Maybe this will make people realise Elvis Hammond is not the reason we are in this position. There are some people don't want to think any different.
Flynny Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Disappointed Hammond wasn't on the bench, really. Whatever he lacks in skill he makes up for in impact, at least as a bench player.
Thracian Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 SHAMEFUL!!Not just Kellys fault, half of them players should be fooked off to hinckley Utd. What the Hell have Hinckley United done to upset you?
MBK Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 The players more than anything deserve questioning. They take too little flack
Daggers Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 But not always a positive one. Like it could get any worse!
Wils Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Didnt listen to the game, been to busy getting pissed. Its exactly what i thought would happen,a heartless performance with no passion or pride. The dont give a shit, they need someone to come in and give them a massive kick up the arse. Rob's time must be up now, surely we are seriously in trouble and i said it last month that i can still see us going down. Our run is tough and i am looking over my shoulder big time. KELLY OUT.
Master Fox Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I had no interest in today's game, i only just found out the result. You must have realised we would lose to Plymouth today.?? I'm so fed up with this club. I ****iing hope we get relegated now because we deserve it.

This is quite worrying because I can't see where we are going to get the points we still need!
Wils Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 It was Plymouth away last year i wanted us to lose to so Levein would get the sack. Hoping lighting strikes twice. Had a great afternoon, had a Plymouth fan ripping me all the time. Great. Fcuk of Kelly.
Thracian Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 doubt MM will sack him, he said he was behind him Yeah - with a verbal baseball bat. I see no way RK can survive after today. If it was a boxing match the fight would be stopped to save him, and the fans, further punishment.
Mort Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Any one suggest we collect money up to hire a hitman to go after Rob Kelly ?????? *skims through yellow pages* As a proud son of Serbia you'd have expected Milan could call in some favours from the paramilitary outfits back in the "old country" who could do the decent thing and help us out
Master Fox Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I don't care if we're relegated, it's hardly bloody surprising? It's been on the cards for the last two seasons. If we do stay up it's not exactly going to be much different to this season. Do you really believe MM can attract 11 half-decent football players to the club? No. I believe we are going down. It will be too late to blame RK, CL, Taylor, and the board etc
JoeyB Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 we wont go down, but with crap displays RK will loose his Reputation (if he has any) and will never get another job in management
Wils Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 We wont go down, I'd bet my life on it (foolishly). How can you be so sure? I dont fancy our chances much atal, our run is difficult the teams below us are picking up points and how can you think we will stay up after you see some of the perthetic performances our team put in? It fills me with loads of confidence.
step Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I have never said thjis before but enough is enough. and gthe sooner Kelly is out the better KELLY OUT
coale39 Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I dont see him being sacked after this result, but if in the next game we put in a similar performance/result, I can see him going. Its clear the management team is simply not up to the job and I hope MM realizes this and appoints Newell.

If he's for axe... then i'd have thought now would be the time to do, tommorow in fact (!)... otherwise this very late stage in the season is just getting later and the prospects of a recovery and margin of error for a new manager will simply be even more constricted!
Floating Fox Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Your all forgetting the important thing. KELLY ISN'T FEELING THE HEAT, HE'S WEARING A FLEECE!
JoeyB Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 Am back from the airport. While i was the only person there the squad actually seemed quite dejected, and disappointed within there selves. But they were all willing to sign my picture (or those that i asked) not Hughes!!!! Rob Kelly even had a quick chat with me, he seemed the quite annoyed but managed to hide it quite well. He asked me how i was i said good thanks (was going to ask for a coaching job) and then i asked how he was, he said he's been better as I could tell. You could tell he has passion for the club and a lot of it, i also think he was quite down as he knew his fate could be sealed! But he's a top man, best manger I've met apart from O'Neil!!! He's very down to earth but a proper nice chap, if he does get the boot, i hope he finds another job! Btw i am taller than most of the squad that i saw/chatted to apart from Stearman (who dropped my picture), McAuley and Logan he's ma-hu-sive. Didn't shout any abuse as i thought they knew they had played crap and had, had enough of a bollocking from RK, + MS. ELVIS IS A LEGEND!!! he's in a different world to all the others
