Plymouth 3 Leicester 0 - Post Match Reactions

massive respect, and indeed commiserations, to all who travelled to Plymouth today.

I'd love the players to put their hands up and pay each supporter who turned up £50, to cover the ticket and petrol, just to demonstrate that they mean what they say when they blather on about 'letting down the supporters', 'we're all hurting in that dressing room blah, blah blah.

most of them earn £2,000 to £4,000 per week. If the entire 16 and coaching staff chipped in it would be between 3 and 5 days earnings.

Go on lads, do it. Earn some respect. Put your money where your mouth is

it wasn't that bad singing today. I think everyone new we had lost as soon as it was the 2nd goal went in. I just read kellys thoughts, and he was right about the last 20 minutes we could have had 3 in the end but we would have let one in after in true leicester fashion. But obviously this only happened because they new that they already won. Also the horse missed an absoulute sitter :frusty:

885 made the trip today, which isn't that bad tbh. Wish it was 884 now.

Aww, did the big bald man shouting in your ear behind you piss you off?

What a waste of time, money and effort that was. If the team can't be arsed to turn up, why should I?

As for creating chances, what a load of pish - Plymouth were comfortable, and we couldn't exploit the defence of an under-8 team with the worst goals against column in the country.

Well I'm disgusted by that result. I've been out all day so I've had to check up results on my phone. Horrifyingly, everytime I looked we were going a further goal down. It's embarassing. Other results just made it so much worse.... <_<

So glad we couldn't get travel tickets. Credit to those who did make the treck.

Please don't check the scores on your phone again.

Yes, I believe this is called "Clutching At Straws", folks, you saw it here first.

I believe berating LWICD and MBKing for starting the matchday threads is a measure of equal desperation - and I claim my Noddy badge.

Well I started the Ipswich thread back in August... maybe i should give the Norwich match thread a stab??

to be fair to plymouth when they went three nil up they did give us 3 one on ones and an open goal its

just a shame horsefield was on the end of the open goal and why did hume keep cutting back inside to

the plymouth defenders when he had loads of space on the left(i know he's right footed) but on 2 occasions

he could of created something decent.

This is a sport started long ago, in fact.

In my defence, we didn't concede three when I started my latest one... and we could have won.

Not today though... blame those who are in need of blaming (Kelly, the players and of course the match thread starter).

We can always win a football game, but the players don't want to any more. They're already off on holidays.

Per se, does MM already have the right to fire outright or does he still need board approval (if there is still a board)?

Unfortunately, when all the players come to clap at the end. That was the best bit because we was singing what a load of rubbish then they walked off. Plymouth is full of farmers its unreal.

Give Louis Dodds the job.

Rochdale's results have really picked up since he went there and he's all about IMPACT IMPACT IMPACT.

IMPACT meaning being subbed off at half-time?

Rochdale 0 - 2 Barnet.

Questiones?

First they sent the wrong coach so we had to wait another half hour for the 'bigger' one to come, that set up the whole day really. There was about 15 of us or so singing, except the odd time when some others joined in, and oh yeah we lost 3-0.

Kelly out. Please

Did you go and see the circus?
There was a fair next door. Rab Douglas got confused in the "Hall of Mirrors", apparently.

To me that seems too kind. I think throwing coins and potatoes stuffed with razor blades would have got the message across better

With a careful and accurate aim, we could clean up Leicester City FC that way...

A team might be forgiven for getting sloppy when they're 3-0 up!

To my mind the most interesting thing about yesterday was the team selection because the minute we had what might be termed almost a normal, balanced line-up - with no extra defensive support - the defence fell to pieces.

Truly they've flattered to deceive on many occasions but the evidence has been there constantly.

Kisnorbo is a footballing philanthropist - the product of all his good work is distributed free to his oppnents. Yet he's regarded as a front runner for our player of the season.

Nils is slow on the turn and less than comfortable or effective in moving forward in support.

Kenton is far too slow and small for a centre-back.

Maybury seems to get lost in a world of his own right for parts of every game - and sadly at great cost.

Maybe Kelly deserves some credit for disguising their limitations with his defensive overload as he did last season too - but he has singularly failed to make the improvements necessary to enable us to field a normally balanced side effectively and therefore to take us forward.

Newton seems the latest damp squid. He arrived only half-fit, played one half-decent game and has since been best forgotten.

Who next on the right wing I wonder.
