Daggers Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I'm sick of Flintoff. He should stop believing his own hype, lay off the pop and start playing some sodding cricket. While we're at it - Vaughan should be removed of the captaincy and dropped down the order.

Flynny Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 And Mahmood finishes with the best economy! Tune in next week as Thracian encourages Mandaric to sign experienced campaigners and the server stays up with more than 6 people logged in!
Milky Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 we could have been a bit more ruthless then, but it'll do.
00rawat Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Is this going to be another England collapse (7-1) not that I would be suprised by it.
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2007 Author Posted 11 April 2007 21 for 1 at dinner. we should be alright really, we win we well and we can have a good crack at the South Africans.
Geo V Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Get that fooking run rate up lads! Its all going swimmingly against a side that beat South Africa and India I think. Lets keep it going..
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2007 Author Posted 11 April 2007 We're making a right ****ing meal of this.
Matt Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Just turned it on and read - "England need 54 to win" Then I saw England 90-4 and though ah we should piss this...Then back up abit...FOUR? Jezus, We may not need to get a very high score but the English players have obviously slacked abit to have had 4 wickets by 90 ain't they?! Can't say they don't like to do this the hard way ah?!

Imagine my suprise when checked the score and saw 74-4 with Peiterson gone. Games not over by any means, middle order collapses are a speciality.
Matt Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Flintoff Gone. 110-5 34 More runs needed to win. Bopara replaces Fred Flintstone.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Game Over.We won. Unconvincingly. Again, the reason why we would be very lucky to win this world cup is enhanced. Teams like NZ and Aus are despatching this opposion much easier than we are.

dandannieldanok Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Trueall though teams like India and South Africa did lose to them. Yes they did, although it was an off-day for SA, they are a quality ODI team. I would say that SA, NZ, Aus, Sri Lanka are all better than us therefore we shouldn't really, on form, reach the semis

Flynny Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Pretty shocking. The pitch was always going to mean wickets fell, but it should have helped them far less with their 3 spinners. Those last few overs were fooking dire to watch.
C-man Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Lets hope we can up our game for the SA game. Otherwise we're trudging home and Fletcher goes.
