as everyone is saying, iain hume is the main person who is worthy of a place in the city side next year.

and i agree, hes a great player who gives 110% each game.

But will he still be here next season, its all well and good saying we want him here at the club, but with all the great performances hes put in this season im sure a few clubs wouldnt mind a bit of humey in their side. would he stay?? :dunno:

well i hope hes here next season, and saying that means hes a great player to have at the club, surely other teams can see that?

Why do people always say Hume?

Kisnorbo and mcAuley have contributed more I would say, Hum'es ran around alot and showed good touches and played alright... but what about our godly CB's

Godly.

That's why we're 5 points off relegation. They've looked good, but no-one ever mentions their mistakes.

Im sure Hume will stay, and i'm sure the next manager (if not Worthington), will see that Hume will play a major part of Leicester's season. With Matty Fryatt well and truly back, him and Hume could reform their partnership and take Leicester to a respectable place next season. Other clubs would love to have Hume in their side, but its not as if we need the money any more so will will be able to turn down any reasonable offers that we would of had to accept when Milan wasn't here.

The reason the defence doesn't look bad even though it's leaking goals is mostly due to Kelly's defence-orientated approach and shortcomings further up the field. They're certainly very good players, but Hume's in the same league. If he didn't make his own chances in the way that he does, we'd never look like scoring with the midfield we've got.

They have prevented us from being bottom but godly??

Hume has won us 10 points at least single-handedly, southampton at home springs to mind.

I'm in no doubt that macauley and kisnorbo are great players for the club, but in my opinion humes in a league of his own, not only does he have the quality, he has the effort to go with it, yes kizza and macauley give effort, but not 110% just as hume... kisnorbo is a very good defender, but thats it, his distribution of the ball is awful, but i'd have kisnorbo be my man for 1 on 1ns... and as for macauley, he can be just another defender some games, but as he has proved, he can be quality ( aston villa springs to mind ) he completely marked milan baros out of the game, he didnt get a sniff.

kizza, macauley and hume... best players at leicester, saying that, im a big fan of porter and even more so henderson

Same here, I don't underatand some of the criticism he gets on here.

neither do i, after all, whats he ever done wrong :dunno:

all hes ever done is pull off unbelievable save after unbelievable save at crucial points in games, another player whos earnt us at least 10 points.

That is why MM and his money will be so important because the one or two players we should actually want to keep, will not be pouched by bigger clubs! Well every player has his price but at least we would be pushing it higher now and not having to sell!! Hume to stay imo!

He has improved loads this year, last year his kicking was awful and he made quite a few costly errors, kicking improved laods this year and errors cut down. Fair play to him

yeh his kicking was poor last year, its gone from poor to actually better than acceptable, and hes also pulled off some of the best saves ive ever saw, i'll never know how hes done some of them, i'm a keeper myself, and i one day hope to be as good as him

I wouldn't say he's quite as good as you've said, but probably better than half the other keepers in the Championship, at least this season.

Stowell deserves some credit there. Dunno what he did to Rab 'MacPie' Douglas, though.

hes a good keeper, id say more than better than half the keepers in the championship, id go as far as saying hes the best in the championship and would make a decent premiership keeper :worship:

anyway, wasnt this thread about hume?

Bryan Robson - one of the best managers in England.

Paul Henderson - best keeper in the Championship.

Players like Hume and Kisnorbo have been amongst the better players for us this season but that doesn't make them great. They're decent players in a below average squad. I don't think we have any stand-out players in our first team really. There's no-one you can give the ball to and they'll make something happen regularly and out of nothing. The closest we've got to that sort of player is Hume and Fryatt imo but still I wouldn't call either of them great.

The sign of a good defender is that you hardly notice them and when they do something it's made to look easy. Gareth McAuley ticks both boxes for me.

paul henderson really is quality, for the life of me i dont know why he has criticts

yes the sign of a good player is as you said you dont realise theyre there, which macauley is good for... except when he pops up with one of his powerful headers in the box- quality :worship:

From our 6 more forward players but subs and loanees, Hume has stood out like a sore thumb. That will definately have alerted some clubs who see him playing well in a poor side. Imagine him in a good side?! Maybe thats worth another 7-10 goals plus? I`d be surprised if he left or maybe dissapointed is a better description but Im certain that he would have alerted some decent clubs with his performances. I reckon they`ll be bids for him.

He's a quality shot stopper, but some of his decision making with when to go to pick up loose balls can be a little iffy. Still, I think he's a perfectly good keeper at this level.
