Was a fine victory yesterday, Benning and New batted superbly and then Henderson bowled tightly which ground Lancs down and allowed Naik to finish off.

Off the bottom in both competitions, some hope for a brighter future.

Leicestershire 2s are playing Scotland at Harborough on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

Reckon I'll pop along and watch Gavin Hamilton spank the county's second string to all parts.

Just a hint of things improving a little at Grace Road. Lets hope they finish this season well, manage too recruit a couple of players to strengthen the team, and challenge for promotion next season.
