As a Strikers fan and depending on your point of view, Conway's a figure of fun; a larger-than-life character from a bygone age - or a complete coat, a limited cricketer who only gets his kicks by winding-up opposition players and fans.

Looks like he's been getting lessons from Merv. They are comical, almost like a sketch show skit.

You do wonder why Ben Green's not played more red ball cricket so far in his career, I guess it's competition at Somerset or injuries, but he's got a very decent batting technique and obviously pretty good bowler as well. Also a bit of the Rorke's Drift about that tash.

Went to a couple of t20 games last season and there was a lad to our right near the Gower suite who was talking into something all the way through, giving a running commentary. Had assumed he was doing something for Cricinfo/Flashscore but I’m assuming it was that?

Not that we needed it but we've certainly had one- impact way outside line for Bartlett's wicket.

Left the ground when Vardy came off so at Grace Rd now. Wicket still very tricky, if we make a 300 lead that’s defensible.
