Think he's somehow managed to blag the role of skipper for the past couple of seasons. lol

He was absolutely awesome on International Cricket Captain 2001 though. :cool:

I think I'd bat Jimmy Allenby at 5.

Hope to get to a lot of matches this summer, if we have a summer that is.

Jim had an awful year with the bat last year but he has shown that he is a quality batsmen on occasion, if he's in decent nick i would put him a lot higher. Also id like some of the younger lads get a first team place in the one day tournaments, haven't seen Bucky bowl for while.

And is Saker definately signed?

I heard an interview with Tim Boon and he said he would be available from the start of the year until the world 20/20. Don't know if he would continue afterwards though....

Just found out that he will not be returning after the 20/20 :cry: I geuss they will get someone else or give the youngsters a go. I know that Nathan Buck wont be playing until the summer (after A-level exams) i think :whistle:

yeah just saw it in the Merc... ive seen him a few times, didn't really leave an impression on me, but he could do what Nads did.

i know they are starting pre-season next week. First friendly is on 3/4/09, first championship game is on 15/4/09 Northants at G'Road
