Geo V Posted 27 April 2007 Posted 27 April 2007 One of my best mates lives in a posh area called Hadley Wood which is basically a road full of houses worth £2m+ (lucky sod ). Anyway the locals went nuts last year when tehy found out that one of the houses was being paid for by the local housing association. Apparently the tennants were from Albania and about 13 people lived in the place. The locals were going mad because they were saying that they were"bringing down the neighbourhood" with there filthy caravan and there general antics . What sort of housing association is so dum that they hosue people on a millionaires road FFS! Some of them are clueless! BTW I reckon they would have had a pool and snooker table at this place !!
stulcfc Posted 27 April 2007 Posted 27 April 2007 pack his bag for him tell him to fook off and dont come back
Rincewind Posted 28 April 2007 Posted 28 April 2007 Don't wish to typecast here but I find Sun 'readers' are the type who are either in the bookies pub or dole office. They stand around in groups and blame the countries woes on illegal imigrants, blacks, irish French, welsh Scots, gays, lesbians,, crimminals, the police, the government and women. They cannot complete two or more sentances without using the eff word 4/5 times. They drink lager mainly extra cold. They believe the Stories in the Sun and never question or wish to delve further than the headline. Their favourite page is three. They also claim to be fair-minded and not chauvinist, racist, sexist or homophobic. So the Sun knows the result of the poll already. Only the ones of a certain mindset will call up. Be prepared for another controversal headline on Monday 'OUR READERS SAY KICK THE BASTARDS OUT. or similar. I doubt that it was just a pool table that was asked for. The request would be for a recreation area including maybe a darts board and board games. A member of staff heard the word pool table and went running to the Sun who do not believe in wasting money on investigationg stories if they can sell more papers by not doing so.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 28 April 2007 Posted 28 April 2007 Being kept in poor conditions is a breach of the governments duty. Absence of games room isn't, although I would suspect that the real argument is "lack of recreational facilities". Exactly. Sort of the argument whether you should rescue someone from drowning because they shouldn't have been swimming in the river in the first place.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 28 April 2007 Posted 28 April 2007 Traditionally, Sun readers are not Labour supporters. Justice for the 96!!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 28 April 2007 Posted 28 April 2007 Well it's everone's human right to have a pool table!!!Will we ever learn...? Makes me laugh how the BNP are the only alternative that are likely to meet this stupid Politicial Correctness head on. I'm afraid for this country that they are eventually going to be one of the top three most popular parties in my opinion.

You started off talking about Sun readers. But finished up talking about Daily Mail readers.

Rincewind Posted 28 April 2007 Posted 28 April 2007 My point really was that there a lot of people that spout on about justice and people being locked up but think it's fine to buy a dodgy DVD in a pub or bring more than the allowance from abroad. If somebody's arrested they immediately assume them guilty. TPH, Daily Mail readers are Sun readers who have have gone up in the world and held a job for 6 months. I've just realised the title of the thread is 'Asylum seeker sueing......' not 'Illegal imigrant sueing...' There is a differance which the Sun or its readers ignore. which begs the questions why is the Sun running the poll in the first place and why did not the topic starter notice the flaw in the article?

Both the Sun and the thread starter have an agenda.
