Phube Posted 28 April 2007 Share Posted 28 April 2007 Are you really happy we're safe and it was only £5/10/20!! Or, did you really want to win loads of money!!??
filbertway Posted 28 April 2007 Share Posted 28 April 2007 People who stood to win 000's are probably a bit gutted, but I would imagine that any Leicester fan would be glad we actually stayed up.
Scow Posted 28 April 2007 Share Posted 28 April 2007 I had £10 on us to get relegated at 40-1. I wanted to put a £100 on, but William Hill wouldn't accept any higher than a tenner. I couldn't care less about losing the money - even if £100 was at stake. I'm just so fooking glad we'll be in this division next season.

Maybes Posted 28 April 2007 Share Posted 28 April 2007 Basically it was insurance in case we did go down.
BartonFox Posted 28 April 2007 Share Posted 28 April 2007 I would have been able to buy about a dozen ST's off my winnings had it come in and it would have softened the blow. Had it not been for Worthington we were down, nailed on!!!
Milky Posted 28 April 2007 Share Posted 28 April 2007 I think betting on your own team to go down is a disgrace

Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 April 2007 Share Posted 28 April 2007  Couldn't give a toss about the tenner obviously. Just need to dip into my ISA for my season ticket next season now. Oh well. We are staying up!

dannyallen1992 Posted 29 April 2007 Share Posted 29 April 2007 I cant find it but before the Preston game i said "I cant believe you think were going down im so confident of staying up" Or something like that
Matt Posted 29 April 2007 Share Posted 29 April 2007 I was so tempted at one point but because the odds were shite I didn't bother, had the odds still have been good I would have a had a fiver at least. No-one bet on it because they wanted Leicester to go down, Beleive me! The reason people bet on it, is because we just didn't look like winning thus staying up, they as Leicester fans have paid enough money on watching crap throughout the season and I guess the view of most people who bet on it was that if we we're gonna go down we might aswell make some money out of it. lcfc_jme Posted 29 April 2007 Share Posted 29 April 2007 I didn't bet on us to go down, but I had us as nailed on certainties to go down under Rob Kelly. Thank God Milan is human and lost his patience with that clown!!
