Simi Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 Not my personal wish list. But it doesn't deserve a thread of it's own. But this was on 606 forum... Apparently the latest players we are linked with today are Freddy Eastwood (again!), Rowan Vine and Papa Bouba Diop.
Mort Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 Not my personal wish list. But it doesn't deserve a thread of it's own. But this was on 606 forum... Links that (having just checked) came from a "well known rumor site" I'd be happy with all three... wont happen in a month of Sundays though, although with the attempt to sign Saga having failed Eastwood would be a player we should at least be considering as a target.

As I said, it didn't really deserve a mention on it's own. It's more believable than some have suggested. All would be good assets to the club. However none are going to happen. Waits for headline.. Vine in Kisnorbo swap deal
Tommeh Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 As I said, it didn't really deserve a mention on it's own. It's more believable than some have suggested. All would be good assets to the club. However none are going to happen. Waits for headline.. Vine in Kisnorbo swap deal Vine will surely in my opinion be surplus to requirments next season at Brum and I can see him moving although, 2 things: 1. He cost Brum £3m in Jan and I doubt they'd want to make much of a loss on him so say they may let him go for £2m thats still a bit too much for me, especially for a player I see very similar to Hume although he can play in behind too. 2. I think the money we have available would be better spent on the midfield where still a bit of investment is needed although the recent signings have been good. Like you say, however probably won't happen. Not a rumour with any depth and probably someone making it up.
meadwell5 Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 have a look at these Adam El-Abd Defender Brighton & Hove (good on ball, puts a tackle in and is up for a fight) Julian Gray winger Birmingham (could add some much needed wide play) Mehdi Nafti defensive Mid Birmingham (good link player) Danny Murphy Mid Spurs (wont leve london for championship football) PHILIP IFIL def/mid Spurs (possible loan player, promising player) Lee clark Mid Newcastle (could give us the experience in midfield we need) David Healy Forward Leeds (sadly premier bound) Freddie Eastwood forward Southend (if we are going to make a push, we need quality) Many more i could mention, but thought id share a few.

GianEmmo Zola Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 Bit harsh taking photos like that, the people of Coventry have enough to put up with. Ian Dowies looking for a new striker in that pic i think
AoWW Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 Don't you hate the taste milk leaves in your mouth for hours after drinking it? Uggghhh, I hate milk.
Master Fox Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 Ian Dowies looking for a new striker in that pic i think I hope it's not Heskey.
Nationwider Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 Bit harsh taking photos like that, the people of Coventry have enough to put up with. That photo won awards for war photography in 2000. If you look closely, at the front of the picture is Mustapha Hadji looking in vain for his get-out clause.
