Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 July 2007 Posted 27 July 2007 1) Way out of our league. 2) [joke about you mis-typing his name as Christ]
Geo V Posted 27 July 2007 Posted 27 July 2007 There's been a lot of talk about him, he was in great form for Sheffield Wednesday last season on the left wing and consistent with it, could just be what we need. He's rejected a new contract from them: http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...p;channel=& So that's basically a "come and get me" call from him. Opinions on whether we should go for him? (I know I haven't had 100 posts and all that malarky but this needs to be made into a proper topic) No chence. Sanchez wants to add him to his growing list of Northern Ireland internationals and he will cost over £2m and go to the Prem if he leaves.

Fulham don't need him, and at this rate Fulham will actually turn into the whole Northern Ireland squad..Mcauley better watch out! Yeh big whoops with "Christ" Brunt... if we get him maybe he can be our saviour...

Im not convinced. I know they bought Lee Cook from QPR who plays wide left but Brunt can play more centrally too. Either way, I dont think that he`ll come to us at all.
lildave3 Posted 27 July 2007 Posted 27 July 2007 Booooooooooooooooooooo. Still bitter about him preventing your mate from the first team? Or something along those lines.
Toby or not Toby Posted 28 July 2007 Posted 28 July 2007 Where is Richard Hughes now? I thought he was going to be released by Portsmouth but haven't heard anything? I think he would be a good signing.

Micky Ruddle Posted 29 July 2007 Posted 29 July 2007 David Thompson - Who recently got released by Bolton.
Ric Flair Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Where is Kerrea Gilbert now? Back at the Arse after a loan spell at Cardiff. Think he'll be available to leave soon, what with Armand Traore and Kieran Gibbs the latest kids on the block on the left for them.

Ric Flair Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Might be worth a try then? Probably only seen him once or twice and don't really recall anything of note he did. Isn't he prodominantly a right sided defender anyway?
Stevosevic Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Nigel Quashie - not sure how much he will play for West Ham but if he isn't in Curbishley's plans, could be worth trying to sort a loan deal.

Ric Flair Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 My wish list: Sign some more people Close Transfer Talk Start Season Win some games You're middle aged and you're still writing un-realistic wish lists, human nature I suppose.
Daggers Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 You're middle aged and you're still writing un-realistic wish lists, human nature I suppose. Unrealistic wish-lists are all that you have left at my age Ric. You bastard.

Nick Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Alright, I'm just going to come out with it. This is linkless gossip. Like most of the thread I suspect. And I'm not quite sure how I feel about it all. I am informed that Patrick Kluivert has been talking to Milan Manderic. My source is very weak. He doesn't eat properly and has difficulty looking after himself and his family. He was excited by this. I was not so excited by this. What do we think about all this then, maybe he was just talking to him about gardening and retirement plans?

May I be the first to apologise for my mis-spelling of Mandaric. Sorry Melan.
jonw88 Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Tommy Wright....anyone?? He's been spotted around my village lately, comes in our local pub and watches the village football team play. They're too good for him and won't let him play unfortunately, but I'm sure he'd do well at Leicester again...........
Fez of Mahrez Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Kerrea Gilbert has gone on loan to Southend by the way.
teblin Posted 1 August 2007 Posted 1 August 2007 Kerrea Gilbert has gone on loan to Southend by the way. Cheers! West Brom have slapped a £250,000 price tag on striker John Hartson. (The Sun) not a bad shout if we are still lokking for a target man.
