Phobias & Emos

It's much clearer now, thanks for clarifying. It would appear they are basically neo-goths. Or something.

Drowning in their own miserable self-importance but essentially harmless.

I will generally smirk at them in the knowledge they will look back with some embarrassment over this "phase" they are going through but I certainly wouldn't consider them a phobia as such!

If you walk around Shoreditch in East London on a Friday evening (actually, any evening) I believe you'll see what the Emo "matures" into, i.e. the Russel Brand style - tight jeans - studded belt - BIG hair - sunglasses worn inside - silly hat - brigade.

Again a little too up their own I'm a budding artist/film maker arse for me but harmless and good to point and laugh at from time to time.

Emo is like chav. It's just a term that used to mean something but now has been picked up by the national media and is instead used by people to describe a large cross-section of young society that dress differently to them.

That's a little bit defensive isn't it? Your not Emo are you?

Jeez, did you have to put that pic of a spider on? I wasn't concentrating, glanced up and saw it mid screen... nearly chucked my coffee all over my laptop! :o

Had a horrible experience with a spider in Sri Lanka once.... evil creatures... spawn of satan! :mad2:

I also have a weird phobia about driving across big bridges.... high flyovers, that kind of thing. I can cope with it (just!) but am inclined to hyperventilate and feel very hot  People who know me well will suddenly notice that I've gone very quiet and that I'm gripping the wheel so tight my knuckles have gone white...

I've been known to drive all the way into London and through the Blackwall Tunnel just to avoid driving over the QEII bridge at Dartford.

No idea where the fear stems from... very odd.

:@ Yes, it was totally uncalled for. Plus I'm so scared of the feckers, I can't bring myself to delete the picture.

You should try doing a Google image search for the f**kers!

Trust me it wasn't easy getting that photo into the post. I wanted it for added effect though. :D

There was a film on the other night/morning Earth vs The Spider. Sort of a mixture between Spiderman turning nast and The Fly.

Anyone want a picture? :dunno:

It's not funny. I hope a plague of Shreddies falls upon your hovel.

BAN HIM!

I come back from the pub to find some kind of hate campaign to tar my good name, just because I love all God's creatures and feel the need to post pictures of them.

I was in a place called Koko's tonight, I reckon they named it after me.

If they'd name it after you, it would have been called "Evil Spawn of Satan".

God's creatures do not include the arachnids. It's a well known fact that a godess was responsible for them.
