So....how was it James?

I'm afraid to say it was actually very disappointing...

The service was abysmal... some cocky guy who was clearly in charge that night but didn't have the first idea about customer service. Seemed more intent in talking very loudly at the waitresses than actually sparing a thought for his diners. The food was ok but again nothing special. I had veal, my Dad had chicken. The salad accompaniment was just a massive bowl of lettuce with a few tomatoes thrown in and the french fries were too small and hard.

One of the waitresses at the end apologised for it being so "hectic". By the end about 3 tables had people on, including mine. Quite how they cope on a busy night is beyond me.

Sorry Ric, I'm sure it can be a good place and maybe was consistently good in the past but on that night it was a let down.

Probably the heat that got the better of everyone. I wen't out on saturday and the service was pretty slow, and the waiter did offer me a free Ameretto to finish with, unfortunately I was driving. I would have accepted the cash value off the bill though.. :rolleyes:

:blush::( :laugh:

Fookin hell, sorry mate. I have been there several times, admittedly not for about a year or so and the food has always been superb. I do apologise.

No worries. As I say I'm sure I just went on an off night or something! It was f**king hot in there as well which probably didn't help.
