leicesterweb Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 http://www.bbc.co.uk/leicester/content/art...y_feature.shtml Interview with Makin has been added to the page - 'why I left Leicester City'!!!!!!
Fox 4 Life Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 Thank god for that! Well if Maybury is still injured then Stearman may get another game!
Muz Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 I fooking love Craig Levein ( in a non gay way of course ) Now get rid of Dion Dublin  :w00t:
Little Nicky Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 Excellente, Bye Bye Makin, have to say it wasn't a pleasure having you here! So long!
Cobbo Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 Is this a loan move or permanent? 66822 Loan by the sound of it I think...but then his contract is up in the summer anyway.
Simon Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 He really IS desparate to get rid of the old and bring new players in quickly isnt he? He must have either of two thoughts on his mind with all this going on and bringing in players so soon- 1. we're in danger of relegation, 2. he wants a play-off push. I rather expect its the latter... Excelente Mr Levein!
Scow Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 Fantastic news. I can't believe we've managed to get rid of so much dross. Scowcroft and Makin won't ever play for us again. Happy days!
City Fan Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 I think Stearmans performance against Ipswich fuelled the move because Levein now realises he has got capable backup at Right Back with Stearman.

Little Nicky Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 BBC football site reckons he's only signed a month's deal http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nty/4267173.stm I hope this is incorrect and he's there for good!
Fox 4 Life Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 details here http://www.dcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~627523,00.html
Craig Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 From that, it sounds like we're trying to sort out a deal to terminate his contract
Mark Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 This just gets better. Craig Levein is on course to being better than O'Neill, in my eyes I've wanted a young team for way too long, i wasn't sure he was going to do all what he said in his first interview when he first game, maybe it sounded to good to be true given the last 3-4 years. Looks to be coming together now
TornadoShaunUK Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 From BBC Sport "Rams director of football Murdo Mackay said: "He's a valuable addition to the squad bearing in mind our injury woes." --- Dont bank on it I'd wager even a cripple would be as much use =/

Ash Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 Good news , we don't need players with Makin's quality in our team.
City Fan Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 I dont get it! Why do promotion hopefuls (such as Ipswich and Derby) want to sign our worst players? Surely if anything, they would want to sign our better players!
Craig Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 YAY! we get to rip the shit outta him again 66939 So do we :w00t:
Solihullfox Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 I bloody hope we insisted that he MUST play for Derby at The Walkers :w00t:
