Steven Posted 15 August 2005 Posted 15 August 2005 Victoria Beckham is 31 and she has never read a book, according to an interview recently. <_< Posh: I have never read a bookVictoria Beckham claims she has never read a book. She told a Spanish journalist she prefers magazines and music even though she has her name on the cover of one autobiography. According to the Daily Mail she said: "I haven't read a book in my life. I haven't got enough time. I prefer to listen to music, although I do love fashion magazines." In the interview with Chic magazine she also revealed she would like to have more children - and is hoping to have a girl. She said: "I can imagine myself painting her nails, helping her with her make-up, choosing clothes with her." Source
kenny Posted 15 August 2005 Posted 15 August 2005 Anything by Ben Elton for me, Popcorn in particular, but all his books are excellent.

Scarby Posted 15 August 2005 Author Posted 15 August 2005 I really recommend Tony Hawks, Dave Gorman and Danny Wallace Great reads and funny
Guest Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 she must have read a book at school or to one of her kids 156993[/snapback] Didn't she go to one of those dodgy stage schools as well? Surely reading literature would be a useful thing to do there? Or does she mean she doesn't read books for recreation? Either way, she's pretty thick, I'd say.
Rincewind Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 Why would she admit something like that. Reading is the best way to relax. You can be wondering where the money for the next bill is coming from one minute and the next taken away to a world far away from yours. It stimulates your imagination, improves your mind and educates. But in Posh's case: No money worries No imagination No brain No IQ
Wellman Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 Finished Gazza's Autobiography *sp?* the other week, and it's a really good and funny read.
Thracian Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 "Three Swans" about life in China under Mao. And, recently finished "In God's Name" about the laundering of Mafia money through the Vatican Bank. Both absolutely cracking stories.
