davieG Posted 1 August 2007 Posted 1 August 2007 Researchers at Alabama's Auburn University say they have determined whatmen want in the "ideal woman": she is sexually inexperienced but likes sex, has a career but is a full-time homemaker, has a slim build, is athletic, and has pretty eyes, dark hair, good complexion and a firm butt. Large breasts are nice, but not all that important. The study's lead author, Erica Gannon, says the specifications are similar to what is found in the Bible. "Our participants, whether knowingly or unknowingly, espouse a view of the ideal woman that is very similar to the views held by individuals thousands of years ago." However, she adds, "It's hard to be this woman." Or this: HEAL, HEEL -- WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE? A German psychotherapist has been accused of criminal misconduct for taking advantage of a patient with multiple personality disorder. Monika Mirte, 44, who also has personalities named Kathrin, Finja, and Leonie, went to see Dr. Peter Blaeker, 43, who, she says, used "Kathrin for sex and Finja to do the shopping and pay for it, while Leonie gave him money to travel on holidays to Mallorca and Sylt." When Mirte realized what was going on she confronted Blaeker, but he told her that he had a "duty of confidentiality" to her other personalities. Blaeker faces up to five years in prison. (London Evening Standard) ...I'm guessing he charged them all for treatment, too.
Gené and Tonic Posted 1 August 2007 Posted 1 August 2007 "It's hard to be this woman." and doesn't she know it!
The People's Hero Posted 1 August 2007 Posted 1 August 2007 No mention of being proficient at chores?
Daggers Posted 1 August 2007 Posted 1 August 2007 I would have thought sense of humour, the ability to produce a good pastry and a lack of a gag reflex would have been up there.
AoWW Posted 1 August 2007 Posted 1 August 2007 I would have thought sense of humour, the ability to produce a good pastry and a lack of a gag reflex would have been up there. I'm shocked and appalled. Pastry? Why the fook bother to make pastry when you can buy it in packet? Pointless.

Zingari Posted 1 August 2007 Posted 1 August 2007 so reasearchers have done lots of studies about what men like about women ; and guess what ? they've come up with this , hardly the revelation of the year lets hear it for the long suffering ladies ; ahhh what did they expect, and what would they think the findings would be if they did a study about what women like about men ; yeah thats a tough one isn't it tall, dark, hansome, rich , sense of humour , sexy ;( some of these might figure in the equation somewhere i suspect) anyone else notice that erica gannon is an anagram of "an ignorance"

skinnydipper Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 Ta for that. Don't suppose you know how to selectively quote parts of a post do you?
lookwhaticando Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 Don't suppose you know how to selectively quote parts of a post do you? Just edit out the bit you don't want. In your reply text box, you can clearly see the post you're quoting... in between the 'QUOTE' tags. Just cut the bits out that you don't want... the Delete and Backspace keys are ideal for this.
