Guest Daniel Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 Who went then and what did you think of your day out? We set off in the mini bus at 10.15 so we could hopefully meet the fox travel on the motorway and go most the way with them. Got off at Toddington services, won jackpot on 3 machines with a fiver, so left there a tenner up. After seeing all the buses came in we set off for Charlton and arrived about 1.30. We parked the mini bus in a near by fire station as Martin (our mini bus driver) is a fireman and had a little word with one of them. Went in ASDA for some donuts and made our way to the ground. The rest is fairytale stuff. Pictures coming soon...
Wellman Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 My day was fantastic!! Set off here at 11, drove to Gatwick Airport, got a train to London Bridge, then to Charlton, got into the ground about 1.45! And as Dan said, the rest is history
Oli Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 Story same as Dans. But I also had no top on for the last 10 minutes and froze to deaf!!!

Jordan Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 I listened to the game online this morning, and it sure sounded like Leicester took over The Valley. Leicester's away support in the FA Cup this year has been outstanding. I'm ecstatic about the result. The squad really wanted this one, and the players, the fans and Craig Levein all deserve this--we should all be proud. Bring on the quarterfinals!
Wilson Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 Had a good day out today, got Fox travel there & back.
Oli Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 Who is that good looking chap with no tiop on, and a hugo hat?
Wilson Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 I was sitting at the furthest end away from you lot & I saw two lads with their tops off - Weren't you freezing?
Oli Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 I was sitting at the furthest end away from you lot & I saw two lads with their tops off - Weren't you freezing? 68791 Yehs, but worth it!! But I got slapped by many people.
Durnerz Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 Went on fox travel. I can honestly say I have never felt so proud of my team, we played Charlton off the park today, and a very good Charlton side on paper also. Bring on the quarter finals and hopefully an away draw, I just cant get enough of an away cup tie atmosphere right now.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 I went on Fox Travel 6. We were the first bus there and the first one back. Got back to Filbert Way by 7:50. Good day out. It was my first game at the Valley and I was a little unimpressed with the ground and the surrounding area but the game made up for it. We dominated the first half and shouldn't have conceded really but we managed to win in the end so it doesn't matter. Fans were great first half but a little quiet during the second until the end.
emmalcfc Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 I left my house at about 9 to get the train. Then went to a pub, where we were talking to some Charlton fans, and they were really nice. I was at the back, near the gaps, and with about a 1,000 layers on, and was still cold. TB you're mad!!! Just after Dublin had scored, I'd just got my foot out on the aisle, and this steward came up to me and said "excuse me, can you stop blocking the aisle". A little confused by this, I just said "yes whatever just because you're loosing", and then he went
foxesfan69 Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 well done 68831 I know that in reply to this you will probably say we are higher in the league than you but i am so happy that we are in the quarters and you're not!!
Cobbo Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Ah, Fox Travel is silly. Got there after 2, got home at 11.30. Please could the coaches be chacked out well before they are allowed to travel? Still, what a #### day We were brilliant (fans and players) Quarter Finals ay, let's not do a Wycombe now
Ricey Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 I watched Soccer Saturday due to me being at my girlfriends, when it went over to Charlie Nicolas near the end I heard him say goal but I didn't know who scored....all I heard was a massice roar so I shouted "sh*t!" thinking it was Charlton who scored. My delight was uncontrolable when I saw the score change to Charlton 1-2 Leicester
filbertway Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 I believe i saw scowy and is it cobbo with the lady hair . But i wasn't sure so i didn't ask. And i feel sorry for those poor people who had to endure bernie for the match
Matt Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 I was taking my mate home from the gym and I had the radio on and shouted YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH as loud as I could because he wasn't really listening to the radio he didn't know what was happening he thought I was gonna crash...
