Would somebody please convince Sir Fynwy it's not that bad a place to go?

The Counting House is far better, as is the Swan & Rushes.

Judging by yesterday's events (which included a gathering of the TPH Appreciation Society ;) ), the latter will probably be my pre-match haunt for some time!

Sir Fynwy loves the Swan & Rushes.

Je adore le Swan aussi. Ils have tres bon le cob avec fromage et onion.

C'est tres stinky, n'est pas?

Don't ignore me...

Anyway - Katy and me are off there for a few in an hour or so before getting a coach to Forest.

Anyone else got the week off? :D Come along.

It'll never happen, the beer is not good (when they have any!) and the service is some of the worst I've ever had in a public house.

...but the lass in the Swan has been ill for the last two months! Coughing and spluttering over my rolls...if I wasn't such a gannet I'd not eat them.

I am very fatigue, merci for asking. It seems like everywhere I cycle is up bleeding steep hills into wind.

But it means I don't have to do a thing with/for the kids for an entire week so I'm made up :D

I think Mrs Daggers is too soft on you or has been looking forward to you going away. Do you have a new milkman?

Et nous buy notra lait from le supermarket merci very much.

The lass in the Swan who served me on Saturday (with a cheese and onion cob, strangely enough :o ) looked perfectly fit to me, and indeed to my drinking buddy! ;)
